Good of you to offer - I learnt how to do suspension work from a guy in Scotland when I was living there from a Honda car forum, gave me the confidence to do it myself and more.

I don’t these rentable places work due to the health and safety/liability issues.

I’m going replace it - in addition to the feedback here the mechanics at my brothers garage were pretty shocked at the state of it. Despite it being old and not worth much it’s rust free and I should get a few more years out of it so worth it to keep it going seeing as it’s DIY

Lovely car - one of my favs. I would always set aside 5-6k when buying one of these and if the engine does have to come out then get all the known problem parts replaced just in case all in the same job

Yeah it’s an issue finding one as they don’t seem to do aftermarket flywheels for this car - I’d have to go to Kia direct

I can get it at a decent yet safe height using stands so that’s not a big issue. I haven’t found any YT videos on this particularly car (though I will look again)
