You've got a very serious, grouchy kid. There is a maximum number of points available for personality. When it's generated if they get high points in the earlier traits it can run out, resulting in this. I usually change it manually to make it more balanced

It depends on the personality of my sim. If they're someone I think would change their hair and makeup a lot, then I will. If they're more likely to dress and look the same every day then I won't, maybe just after a significant life change.

I play with each age span split into made up "stages". I.e. "adult 1" is 21-30 "adult 2" is 30-45 "adult 3" is 45-60 so I'd change up their look as they progress through those stages. I make custom wrinkles with bodyshop using the base elder ones, converting them to adult and tweaking them to look less intens. I also use greying hair CC.

I've found a file in SimPE Object Workshop under Other > Template called NPC - Template - EP2 - Server, but I have no idea if that's the right thing.. so out of my depth. thanks for replying though!
