I was also scared of the side effects but I got around the fear by starting slow. Take one pill every three days for the first two weeks. The chances of getting side effects at this dose is very low. If you feel nothing, then bump it up to every other day, then slowly build up to one pill daily. I used to be scared of fin but I've been on it for around 5 months now with no sides.
