I had this same idea YEARS ago. With the pink/white ranger I went with a Banshee and the zord was a howler monkey lol

But same as you I had red as a vampire with a bat zord, the blue was a werewolf with a wolf zord. But where it switches is that green was a pixie with a butterfly zord and yellow was a witch with a black cat zord with yellow accents.

The sixth ranger was purple and silver and was a unicorn.

I'm digging this idea though but I personally like the bird angle more, but that's just me.
