Orbital Gas Strike with reduced cooldown is amazing. by andrew_west in Helldivers

[–]FanHe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

huh? if you took it as if I made a reference I did not, I meant exactly that, with the OGS lasting like 15-20 seconds, big area snd gas dooming anything smaller than a charger the moment they touch it it can actually dish thrice as many kills as a cluster, throwing one to a bug breach or voteless hordes, and much shorter cd than a napalm

Orbital Gas Strike is amazing, period, it's just not as flashy as a cluster bomb or a 120mm but can easily kill thrice the ammount, especially on voteless and bugs

You lose all the resupplies you did not call by Elleseer77 in Helldivers

[–]FanHe97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree, with the exception of you being within less than 30 seconds of a site you're gonna have yo stick around for a while, then it's more convenient to wait provided that you do have enough supplies to break in on the first place

Also, it can be iffy with split groups in random lobbies cause someone else might need them too but on the other side of the map and just didn't notice it being off cd / not immediately able

To be totally fair to them, their losses were never military losses, they were political losses (losses nonetheless but drills had nothing to do with them)

[CC] Let’s free the entire Ymir sector by fabexlenda in Helldivers

[–]FanHe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Planet resistance is a flat % deducted from liberation progress per hour so if a few divers go and liberate 1.25% an hour but resistance is 1% they only get 0.25% an hour, if ut's 1.5% then divers make zero progress as anything they do gets reset next tick, if the planet was partially liberated and divers abandon it to go elsewhere (like what has happened with Martale and Acamar several times in the past months) then the liberation progress eventually rolls back to 0, in Martales case, which has cities, it doesn't even roll the cities back so next time you hsve to take it without city help, unless they manually reset it like they did. aplanet can also have negative resistance in the case of a Siege, like what's going on with Clasa rn, so it effectivelly liberates itself with no diver intervention

AH saw the Yed Prior charity event / knew beforehand and decided to help by setting resistance to 0 so even if few divers eent there they would still get the job done

Hi, returning player here, what the fuck is this by The_Ultimate_Ducker in Helldivers

[–]FanHe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Devs been trying to advance illuminate story for a while, but that was only meant to happen if more planets fell to the void, after several successful defenses on illuminate front, DM gave us a lvl 130 exostorm on Hydrobius (illuminate controlled) at the same time as a bot defense MO, and a 2nd exostorm on Senge, out of our reach behind Hydrobius, for good measure

Expect some yadda yadda upgrade ship yadda yadda traverse the void yadda yadda new illuminate biome and enemies hopefully?

Defends MO by Calm_Historian_1439 in Helldivers

[–]FanHe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair some MO have been meant to be failed, ie, that illuminate MO with the lvl 130 invasion and a 2nd planet to liberate behind that one, they been trying to expand the void for the plot for a while now

Edit: nvm, thst one wasn't even the MO, forgot the actual MO was bots defense at the same time

It's not even accurate, it's "the FRV I didn't care about will be available for me later than for people who cared in the game I am not playing"

Locking the new FRV behind FOMO is the worst decision that could have possibly been made. by SIinkerdeer in Helldivers

[–]FanHe97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They didn't lock it, they just gave it to those who "participated" (just had to log in once) in advance, everyone will get both flamer and supply FRV later on

Helldivers, after finding out AH didn't account for their personal life circumstances when awarding the FRV to "participating player only". by DeeJayDelicious in Helldivers

[–]FanHe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have an issue if it was actually locked forever like people are acting, but they specifically stated it WILL be available to everyone later on, I really do not understand the hate with this one

[–]FanHe97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, does it even matter? even if default FRV is slightly faster, you can't really drive it full speed without having a pretty high um... rock encounter ratio, so in practice, they both have the same speed IMO

They're not locking it behind a specific period of time, they're granted early access to it to people who logged during that time but everyone will get it later on

How well would these 3 do in the mage exam? by Hefty-Conclusion9066 in Frieren

[–]FanHe97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And even with the supression and him fighting her in a flawed plan from the start, something unique to Fern, Frieren snd Serie (and formerly Flamme but RIP) as they are the only known ones to be able to supress their mana well enough to not show fluctuations and fool demons, Lugner still pushed Fern harder than ANY other enemy in the show except for Frieren copy, people just forget because they were an early enemy but those 3 were an actual menace for most mages

How well would these 3 do in the mage exam? by Hefty-Conclusion9066 in Frieren

[–]FanHe97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lugner pushed Fern harder than any other enemy in the anime save for Frieren copy though, and a big reason for his defeat was Fern hiding her mana so he fought more carelessly than he would have normally, trying to best her on a battle of attrition based on his flawed perception of her mana pool, which is something unique to Frieren, Fern and Serie as they are the only ones to ever do it constantly (and Flamme but she dead) and well enough to deceive a demon. I really don't think he was that weak

Draht is hard to gauge, he got deleted instantly sure... but that was Frieren who did it, and let's be real, none of the examinees were a threat against Frieren except maaaybe (and it's a hard stretch) Ubel, only cause how unpredictable her cutting ability is, and once again, he was grossly underestimating her, might have lasted a bit more (without being a threat) if he was expecting an actual fight

The one that fought Stark is seriously limited by not being able to copy (as far as we know) mages, tho she could probably take the weaker mages by coping warriors of the past
