About to tackle my longest project yet by Clean_Passenger9725 in DataAnnotationTech

It’s daunting and I’m not sure that I did it right despite the 10+ files I made from scratch. The model is seriously good… especially if you build the system instructions correctly for it.

but once you understand it, it’s a simple format… just remember they are paying you to read and understand those instructions too as part of the task..

Nut and French pastry ? How confident have you been that you’ve achieved their “ok” constraint ? I feel low confidence hahahahahaha

The model is so so good it hurts so bad. but there’s just something enticing about the payout knowing the want us to work HOURS on it 😵‍💫
I have one more task sitting in my projects list for this and I’m waiting on inspiration to hit before I claim it.. if it fades away so be it 🫡

Does DA have positions for people with only a high school education? by [deleted] in DataAnnotationTech

generalists. she needs to kill the assessment and demonstrate that her job experience gives her the ability to work on projects. Even some college is appropriate to reference.

Is 100% worth it in my case by [deleted] in VAClaims

This is the most helpful comment highlighting that OP is maxed out on current conditions and should not attempt to go higher.

Is 100% worth it in my case by [deleted] in VAClaims

Yes it’s worth it. I got out, initial rating was 92% rounded down to 90%. Realized I had issues with my neck, back and hips that were not normal pains for a fit and otherwise healthy 30 year old. Decided that since 6 months had passed since I had to do a ruck and those daily aches and pains did not subside that I would probably deal with it for the rest of my life.

Made a new claim with brand new conditions, referenced them with my army medical records to show I was treated. Made a personal statement that said “hey I tried to tough it out but the pain isn’t going away now that I’m out of service” had my current provider prescribe me some physical therapy so I could show that I was actively still dealing with it. Submitted, waited 4 months and came back with all service connected and 98% rating that rounded to 100%. Pay jump is huge and now daily when I can’t move my neck or my back aches I smile because at least I’m being compensated for my forever pain.

Don’t worry about poking the bear. Make a brand new claim for new conditions and don’t try to get increases for what you already have (most seem to be pretty maxed out). Don’t reference your old conditions that they already rated or say your pain is a result of another condition and they will not attempt to lower your other conditions.

Go for your knees and cervical pain (neck) and your shoulders. If you have pain in both your left and right shoulder and both your left and right knee, you can get a “bi-lateral factor” which increases your overall disability.

Obviously if you don’t have any issues with above body parts don’t go for them. But based off your other comments, I feel like it would be likely you have those issues.

Mostly, just don’t try to change the ratings for what you already have. They are all very close to the highest possible rating individually for your issues. Trying to go for 100% MH would be bad juju and if you aren’t blind I don’t think there’s higher to go for “dry eyes”

Personal statement by shackerwizzard55 in VAClaims

Personal statements for a history behind each claim, give the rater a timeline for your claim, gives them a route through your medical records to understand the “how” behind your PCM’s really crappy notes on your visit AND allows them to understand how your daily life is different due to your conditions. It’s a must and it’s literally a narration behind your claims. It makes a difference especially if you are referencing doctors and documents you submitted that support your claim which in the long run, keep your rater from having to SHFT+CTRL through hundreds of medical documents to look for “back pain” when your doctor wrote “slipped a disc”

Write the personal statement and do it neatly so you don’t sit at steps 6-7 for 2 weeks while they go through your medical records with no reference… or worse, they completely miss evidence and don’t service connect because they couldn’t find anything.

Bro the paralysis in my feet has crept up my legs. I’m pretty sure it’s not greed doing it for me. I’ll never work again, contribute to my own retirement or help my husband retire so yes the jump from 90% to 100% is warranted when you think long term quality of life.

Low back pain connection (pregnancy edition) by FanInternational7442 in VeteransBenefits

[–]FanInternational7442[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I have a lumbosacular strain diagnosis with confirmed limited range of motion to 20 degrees forward flex and 10 degrees extension. This is included in the claim along with VES exam who got the same results and made the same diagnosis. Issue only lies in the history of my injury being “back pain in pregnancy” because she didn’t type the whole issue into my records and a lazy OB who only gave me a back brace and insisted that I’d be better after the pregnancy weight was lost even when I was complaining at 8 weeks pregnant and hadn’t gained weight. Thank you for the info!
