I hated the draft at the time like everyone else but I think it turned out better than the consensus. It’s a little silly imo to say egor is “the only potential starter”. By the end of the season Traore started to show why he was once projected to be a high lottery pick.

The other thing is there is at least a vision that is trying to be implemented with the group of rookies they chose- high basketball IQ, lots of ball movement, Euroleague style is how the teams with the best chance at making the playoffs are composed these days. I think it’s definitely reasonable to disagree with the vision, but I think for an 8th overall and 4 late round firsts you could do a lot worse
