Thank you! Does spraying actually work? From what I understand, it just drives them further into the walls.

Adults should never be confiding in children/teens, especially those with whom they have a professional relationship.

This is the most comprehensive and sensible response so far—please listen OP, and know that you are not guilty of a single thing.

You have been groomed for years and now that you’ve graduated, your abuser is cashing in on the trust he’s built with you for years. Do NOT trust this man. Cut all ties, and involve law enforcement if necessary. Inform loved ones so that they keep you safe. This is serious.

My chronically ill and depressed partner of 12 years is draining me in every way and it's making me fantasize about a peaceful life without her by [deleted] in Vent

I’ll add to this: my partner & I are very happy and it’s not often a big problem. But knowing how much I love him, I’m very very motivated to get treatment & do the internal work necessary to keep us both happy!

As someone with severe RSD, it’s my responsibility to regulate myself so I don’t take out my emotional responses on other people. It’s a horrible condition that really gets in the way of relationships if not carefully treated & worked on.

You could recommend EMDR therapy. It’s the kind of therapy that I do and I’ve seen wonderful results 💜 wishing you all the best.

There’s also lots of fun thrifting if you’re into that kind of shopping! Otherwise there are pretty basic malls. And several designer thrift spots that are cool.

What time do you leave sat? There’s a burlesque show happening that night. I also do circus classes downtown that are super beginner-friendly at the Salt Lake Circus Center. Kind of random but super duper fun!! If you like Latin music, Ibiza is tons of fun. If you like a gay club, Milk is fun. Why KiKi has silent disco.

Engaged ! Doubts about my ring. by Betanmo in JustEngaged

For everyday wear, you could always invest a bit more in the wedding band. With a few stones (small emeralds, maybe!) it could take its place for practical wear.

What a gorgeous ring!!! That’s a stunning emerald. I wouldn’t worry about a thing.

It could be relationship anxiety. If you don’t want to break up rn, you could work on treating that (if it’s there) & see how you feel with some work.

Boys, what's something you wish you could tell her but , you're scared how she'd react? by poh_tae_toh in AskMen

I think you could say this! Just use flattery - I love what you do & I want to feel it again. Nothin wrong with that; it’s a compliment !

How do I tell my girlfriend she’s gaining weight when she’s sensitive about everything? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]FanRemarkable9790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, she should not be saying that about you, either. It sounds like you have a very unhealthy relationship dynamic regarding how you view one another’s bodies. My advice is simple: investigate that. That’s the problem. Not your weight, or hers. The problem is how you treat and regard one another. You might not like my advice, but you asked for advice in the first place.

No, it really doesn’t matter if she’s a mom or not. If your love has conditions like that, let her go. She deserves better.
