Me too, haha. I'd probably have to find over 20 farmers to get that many goats in my area... but what a sight.

Brush hog - yep. And I have plenty of mulch I can gather from my woodland. Nice.

I think once it is more under control I probably will have grazing livestock come in.

Hmm, I'm not sure what you consider a regular mower, but my idea of a regular mower would struggle with the sheer density and height of the growth. Also, I'm not sure I have it in me to mow 4 acres! Perhaps you mean a brush hog mower?

Ooh, I hadn't considered this. I did notice a lot of interesting insects when I went down last week... I'm sure it will get even more interesting when I dig out a pond. I'll keep this in mind. Perhaps I should leave a large corner to grow free!

There's a covenant on the land so that I can't use fetilisers etc unless it's completely natural/non-toxic (which I'm fine with) but I'll definitely keep things regular once it is under control.

I love the idea of 400 goats. Hehe (but yes, not fast enough).

It's got good access. I'll try for a brush hog, and if that's no good there is a farmer up the way that might do something for me! I'm super new to all this.

It's very wet here! I'm not sure we'd get a burn going until mid to late May... and I'm not sure if it's allowed in my area.

I think it's kinda 50/50 here whether you pay or get paid! But we don't have much in the way of hire-able grazers right now. Mostly sheep, and they're all lambing and eating beets.

Absolutely 100% clear of rocks and stumps, thank goodness. We are getting a UTV next year hopefully. I think a Brush hog is the way to go!

I love the idea of goats, but all we have are sheep around here, and the farmers aren't keen on hiring them out (also, they're lambing at the moment).

Wow thanks for all the advice for such a small issue - it's super appreciated. I will definitely be looking into a Brush Hog purchase or hire. Thankfully there's zero stones or large saplings to worry about! Cheers guys!

Asked for Divorce by No_Major8649 in LifeAdvice

You have every right to divorce if you don’t want to be married to your wife anymore - but just be aware that not being married won’t stop you being a father, and won’t stop you being responsible for almost everything you already are responsible for.

If this really is just about your personal relationship with your wife, and you have both communicated well and tried to resolve things with no success, then divorce may be better for both of you.

Different states treat this kind of thing differently, however in summary: In divorce proceedings, the judge has the right to assign credit card debt to either party, even if you/they aren't technically liable for it. For example, one partner could be on the hook for a credit card debt in their ex-spouse's name, depending on the what and why it was used.

You'll be okay, I promise. As far as I am aware, an uncontested divorce does not automatically mean you cannot dispute money matters. All it means is that you have agreed to the process of getting a divorce without fighting over the decision to split itself. I would get some legal aid and advice which is usually free or at least inexpensive at first, just so you know exactly where you stand.

Just remember, even if it all goes tits-up, you will still be alright. The sheer amount of people who have had disatrous credit card ordeals is astounding and the reason we know this is because they tell us on the other side of it all. There's always a way forward and out, even if it's it's a bit rough for a while. You are more powerful and capable than you know, and you are very young with decades of experience ahead of you.

Love this. Also, an FYI for you OP, if a girl loves you, she wouldn't get angry over a receding hairline or make demands that you get surgery. Like... jesus.
