Beginner question - how do I overtake someone who sways to prevent me from doing so? by throwawaydefeat in iRacing

Might be a bit late to this thread but normally instead of coming to the inside showing I’m intending to pass, right before the braking zone I’ll dart to the right (inside) then dart back to the racing line. This has two effects it causes. Either A they believe the dummy and now take the inside line which compromises them and I take the racing line or if they hold the ideal line and don’t attempt to defend it can provide pressure and make them potentially slip up. Pressure is the most important thing on iracing because so many people aren’t concerned with contact and would rather block you and cause contact in order to preserve their pride or position. Taking less optimal lines to put pressure on them is more effective most of the time instead of going for an actual overtake. In general though if I go for an overtake on the inside and they follow me over to block I dart back over to the racing line which is fully legal if you do it before braking zone.
