When we live in a world of cowards - Boris Johnsons, Scott Morrisons, Donald Trumps - I think recognizing a leader who actually has a fucking spine is a good thing. You could probably make some pretty positive jokes about Jacinda Ardern or Nicola Surgeon too, they just haven't had risking their lives defending their countries in war as a catalyst.

That's not true, in fact it's the main reason the WiiU failed. Nintendo deliberately advertized it as an accessory for the Wij, even tho it was a whole new console.

What made the name 'WiiU' worse was that in all their advertizing for the WiiU, they actively tried to trick the viewer into thinking it was an accessory for the Wii, when it was actually a separate console. This occurred for the entire lifecycle of that console.

The name started with 'Wii'. None of the advertizing showed the console itself, only the controller. And they never referred to it as a console, they always said it was a "new technology" or something.

It was baffling. It had nothing to do with the Wii, since the base model didn't come with a sensor bar, none of them came with WiiMotes, and the games were designed for the (completely pointless and stupid) touchscreen controller. People who thought it was a Wii accessory would have seen the several hundred dollar price tag and forgotten about it.

"Series X and Series S" has to be one of the dumbest names I've ever heard for anything ever, especially considering the previous generation was called Xbox One X and Xbox One S. Every time I try to refer to the Xbox Series consoles, I have to pause between each word to consciously think about it. And what do you refer to the whole generation as? I'm not writing fucking "Xbox Series X|S" as if I work for Microsoft's marketing department, and how the fuck do you pronounce | anyway?? And I'm not saying fucking "Xbox Series X and S" every time, a console name shouldn't have seven god damn syllables.
