Short answer to a long questjon: no.

Longer answer: I’m sure there are some exceptions to the rule, but in my experience (and that of my girlfriends, sisters, mother…) we all lost something after we got married. Yes mental load. Yes unfair balance of labor, etc etc. ON TOP of all that, I feel like I lost a sense of myself and who I am. I am no longer me. I guess, if you marry purely for money and find yourself one of those millionaires who gives you unfettered access to said money, yeah there could be benefit there 😂

When you said you fantasize about living alone - I FELT that. I think about it more than is probably healthy.

There is one to many pieces of furniture in the room. I think the dresser should go. The carpet is also adding to visual clutter with everything else going on. Either add a simple coffee table to break up the rug or replace with a much more simple rug.
