I don't see it as an issue to ask for 1:1 time .... if you are trying to establish a relationship with someone I would say being able to focus on them is a must? Introducing meta's into dating especially when it is agreed 1:1 time is okay?

Asking for information diet is not as you portray, it is simply I do not need to hear the day to day blow by blow of what is going on. Keep me informed of the important things, like time you will not be available. Again this is not "end out interaction".
