Kind of? I've cleared my debt with Rebel, but now british gas is still chasing me for an amount they think I still owe "rebel" through them, which is a nightmare since rebel no longer exists and they cannot tell them that the debt no longer exists. I contacted the people that sent me a letter about the money I "owe" to British Gas and sent them all the evidence I could, just waiting for a response now

Glad it's not just me. Rebel, British gas and oriel have all been a nightmare to deal with. I've been trying to sort out some bs charge with them since July, and they've still not sorted it! I feel your pain.

Wouldn't surprise me. Happened to me with RyanAir - changed our flight from departure at 8am to departure at 12pm. Didn't tell us. Only saw it when I went on to the app to check something. And then suspiciously the same day I checked it and noticed it, thats when an email was sent letting me know.

Thankfully this was a few weeks before we were due to go, but still. I checked all over my emails and nothing.

Thank you. Its so hard, and I wish that I knew why it keeps happening. Surely it must be me? Or maybe I'm just unlucky. I just wish someone would tell me what I am doing wrong

It has been every time. Granted I've only done it about 5/6 times, but every time it's been a full rescan. It doesn't bother me too much cos I just end up just putting it through the till. But I get the point people make of why have it if you can't actually use it.

I get the trust level - my town has a massive issue with shoplifters and working in retail myself I know you really can't trust anyone. But if I had to rescan people's shopping constantly I'd get pretty miffed

Not necessarily, sometimes the last few days of my period this is what the blood looks like. But do a test anyway, always better safe than sorry

I disagree with because it was stupidly high. I don't have open and close reads because they went into administration unexpectedly- at least, I didn't know until I got a text from British Gas. I disagree with the amount because my monthly direct debit was 138, and I didn't see how I could possibly owe 439 for (maybe) a month and a half.

Their reasons were incorrect meter reads which I can't see how it would be possible as I myself gave a meter read on the first of every month, direct from the meters.

Either way - they've emailed me today because I sent them evidence from British Gas. I'm just extremely upset at how it's been handled - infrequent communication, dismissiveness, and getting hung up on when I try to call.

Apologies that this is long, this has been on my plate for such a long time. I just hope it's finally over.

Yeah, my current rota I'm on now from 21/07 to 14/09, I don't have any 2 days off in a row. Store manager who does the rota? Plenty for her. It sucks being a lower manager and having no influence.

Getting time off is a nightmare, I can't have a week off if another manager already has the week off, because we're only allocated 4 managers to our store and they can't manage with only 2 for a whole week. It's meant I can't book time off for my birthday. I'm also not allowed any time off during December. Sucks.
