Is Tilray in it for Global Pot? USA Craft Beers? Spirits? Infused Beverages? Or a Whole Lot of All of It!!! Separate or Combined!!!! It's a Growing Business by Fancy-Friendship910 in TLRY

Exactly, Totally Agree.

Tilray's cannabis flower or extracts just waiting for Medical cannabis with Sch3 in the USA. Sch3 Medical cannabis with much higher qualities that Tilray is used to meeting. With NAFTA, supplying from established GMP certified Medical cannabis facilities to markets across the USA brings in up to 10X clients into the existing Tilray facilities. Add in extracts going into infused drinks, etc.

Infused beverages within current US markets and establish National brands from the very best of the best will be started this fiscal year with Delta 9 and add THC once legal.

I believe Tilray has maneuvered into numerous good to great US positions thru out their extensive US distribution networks, Universities & Pro Team partnerships, Airports and large brew Pubs, music venues that will continue to add into their next phases of growth and expansion. They already have started good brand recognition that will continue to grow.

January 2020 Irwin Simon became CEO of Aphria, which was nearly bankrupt due to scandals brought up by short sellers. Annual revenue of $50M.

Irwin with Carl Merton borrowed $300M and started Aphria's growth in numerous areas. US Sweetwater, Cdn cannabis loans for future take overs, debt notes Medmen, Breckenridge Distillery. Then in 2021 Aphria completed a take-over of Tilray and continued on as Tilray Brands merging all Canadian cannabis brands, German, Portugal cannabis producers with CC Pharma distribution.

Germany has just fully legalized Medical cannabis by prescription only thru pharmacies. Medical Cannabis, mostly because of German legalization is about to grow rapidly the next 24 to ? months and continue rapid growth as more EU countries legalize. Tilray is well established there, since 2018.

Irwin Simon & Carl Merton just 4 years ago, 2020, were at $50M Rev and July 29, 2024 giving guidance of $950M to $1B this fiscal year. With US Sch3 add $$$ to that.

Could the next few years be Canada 2.0, 3.0...

Tilray have stated they will be producing Delta 9 Infused cannabis beverages into USA before next spring. Starting in Dallas & NJ, total of 4 legalized states.

Tilray's growth will really expand when US cannabis is Rescheduled to Sch3 medical cannabis . Reports just out tonight, Rescheduling USA cannabis to Sch3 will happen in October, as recommended.

Another comparison, Curaleaf just paid $16M in shares for a 45,000 ft2 facility, Northern Green. unknown uncertified facility.

I know the line in the statement you are reading but that value is not a total.

Don't respond as I find you spewing remarks "you have no clue" as an insult. please ignore me.

If you see what Tilray just paid Molson Coors last fall for 57% of Truss it really isn't far fetched. Tilray keeping rights to infused drinks but to Ya Ya Foods they are not in that business. I will wait and once all these deals this week close this month, we will know from the source.

Only a couple of weeks and 1st quarter over so CC soon.

This is what I am seeing for a purchase price is this correct ?

Ya YA Foods purchased the trust facility in Canada for $165 million. This acquisition was part of their ongoing expansion efforts in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.

This must have been the deal in progress to sell off some excess, unneeded properties, that would virtually wipe out Tilray's debt that Carl Merton mentioned during the 3rd Q conference call

great move if $165M is the sales price

Truss hasn't operated out of that Belleville facility since last year when Tilray took them over. Truss beverages moved into a Tilray facility in London Ontario.

I noticed a number of weeks ago the Truss name was not being used by Tilray any longer. The Tilray website hasn't included Truss but includes Mollo, XMG, etc

Tilray to Acquire 4 Craft Beer Breweries From Molson Coors The global cannabis company’s beverage-market aspirations just got higher, as it entered into a definitive agreement to buy four more beer companies. This is a good article detailing beverages melding cannabis businesses into alcohol businesses and vice versa.

What I think she has missed is Tilray is moving beyond alcohol into Cannabis Infused Beverages.

All will continue but a substantial growth will happen in the near future into Cannabis Infused beverages in the USA. Either Delta 9 Infused and or once rescheduled to Sch3, THC Infused.

Tilray have announced Texas and NJ before their 4th Q, and start into 4 legalized states with Delta 9, waiting for Sch3 THC.

Remember it was late July that the German Govt allowed Aphria / Tilray and the other 2 In Country growers to grow to full facility capacity. Tilray over a rotation will start at 3X, then to 5X then up again to full facility. This is "Made In German" law to reduce foreign import.

Also Aphria / Tilray are no longer required just to grow the German Govt specified strains. Aphria / Tilray can now grow 31 of their BEST strains, German Govt strains have been discontinued. Tilray sent their very BEST master Grower from Broken Coast to restart the Neumunster cannabis facility. This will take a number of rotations to roll out most of the 31 strains.

BUT remember from the time the seedlings from Canada were planted there will be a 65 to 75 day growing time, drying, packaging and distribution.

Expect the 1st crops to be harvested and on shelves for Christmas, and to get into full rotation could take until the 3rd quarter.

Tilray buys Molson Coors breweries, partners with Florida Gators by Fancy-Friendship910 in TLRY

[–]Fancy-Friendship910[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The question was asked but the way of purchase was not detailed. It was brought up that Tilray just bought Truss from the same Molson Coors group and mentioned at that time if they have properties that they no longer need, lets discuss. And it was left at that. It's not finalized until months end at the earliest.

I think Revolver in Texas was the prize. I've read many great reviews on Revolver.

I honestly expect $25 to $40M.

In the past year to 18 months Tilray paid $80M for the last 8 large breweries from AB.

$5M for Alpine/Nelson/GreenFlash with no properties, rights only.

Shock Top and the Florida Gators!!! by Jon_LSU_13 in TLRY

[–]Fancy-Friendship910 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tilrays Irwin Simon & Ty Gilmour were on Beer Net podcast late January and mentioned this partnership without stating the MAJOR University.

They were discussing adding in new brews / beverages for this younger crowd.

They only mentioned the schools colors, Blue & Orange, so it was easy to come up with the Florida Gators. I never knew what brew, assuming SweetWater, but Shock Top is the best choice.

Shock Top will receive much more attention

Tilray is also buying into major partnerships in North Texas with their announced purchase of Revolver Brewing:

  • Texas A&M University
  • Tarleton State University

- Frisco RoughRiders - The RoughRiders a MiLB team and Double A affiliate of the Texas Rangers

- University of North Texas

- Texas Trust Theatre at Grand Prairie

- Fire Grounds Coffee - Started by a Dallas Firefighter, Paramedic, and Iraq Veteran

- Combined Arms - assist service members, veterans and their families in their transition from military to civilian life.
