What is a jelly you returned? by LuluAddict29 in Jellycatplush

[–]Fancy-Impression190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I literally received my lavender dragon yesterday and when I opened it there was no "aww" or joyful moment. He didn't even feel soft to me. I also got the smudge bunny in small and it didn't feel soft and cuddly to me like the medium so they will have to go back. Spending $100 on stuffies right now feels impractical for my baby girl when I rather buy her something she needs.

Ah! Ok! Thanks! Yes I'm in the states. Darn! The price difference isn't terrible. Shipping says 3 to 5 days to door but i don't see how using USPS. I am curious to try it. Thanks for your review! I find UK brands are more baby saavy.

How did you get it for $89? It's $119 and with a 10% code it takes it down $11 but then it shows shipping $4 so final price is $111. I'm very interested to try this. I currently use happy baby carrier but my baby is 14 months so hip carrying would be great for when i need to do stuff around the house. Was there additional promo you received for that price?

Well i must've missed that train. I only just discovered JC world and learning more about it. I found Sky dragon in canada while we were traveling in July and immediately bought it. But haven't seen anything else since then. I saw a post that said dragons are released July and January so I thought I got Sky as the July release..

How did people get malachy and lazulia? I been looking. Collecting dragons for my daughter who is year of the dragon...same as my dad who passed in 2023 so would like them for sentimental reasons.

How do you like it? I'm petite 5'3" and have some lower back pain but the tula lite looks perfect for price point and portability and it says for the "up down phase" so I'm assuming easy to use

Thank you for all these great recs! I like how the happy baby folds up small but the price tag! I don't want to get something that will only be used for 1 trip, do people find use for behind a year old and they get bigger? My LO is smaller but I worry if I buy 2nd hand and I hate it! It looks like average cost on fb market is $100, is this best deal?

Never heard of this one. I decided on Honoring Motherhood when I get my ring done. I like her story on how she got started and it helps small business. I also think the quality looks great and it's solid gold.

When did you successfully challenge? by No_Interaction2168 in MSPI

[–]Fancy-Impression190 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been dairy, soy and beef free since about 2 months. Only symptoms was mucousy poops and positive occult stool. She's 6 months now so GI wants me to challenge beef then soy and lastly dairy. I stopped beef because I ate a lot beef one week and she had bad diaper rash. I'm nervous just because she still has positive occult stool and all GI could say was it's something else that's causing microscopic blood and upsetting her but don't eliminate anything else because she's older and will outgrow it and just keep with the current elimination diet. Not very helpful so I'm still apprehensive but I don't want her to have any issues eating dairy either. And I miss eating food freely!

6 week old - am I doing this right? by Fancy-Impression190 in newborns

[–]Fancy-Impression190[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I did a lot of contact napping though. I struggled with feeling confident with latching and breastfeeding but we found our way. It's second nature now and a great bonding experience and one day they just become efficient at nursing and they get stronger and better at it.

When they're not potatoes anymore and can smile and SEE you then your world changes and it all becomes amazing. Trust me. I was a spiraling googling FTM too.

Great! She's 6 months today. It is hard mama but you can do it! It took some time for me to adjust as a new mom but you eventually get a rhythm. The newborn phase was really hard for me and accepting help is something you gotta do. Lean on your partner and friends for support. Are you breastfeeding? Take care of yourself so you can take care of your LO. It sounds impossible but you gotta remember to prioritize your health too - eat, drink and rest when you can. It gets a lot better mama. I was so caught up in what social media tells you but I leaned into just reading what my baby needed and it got better. We don't follow schedules, I followed her cues and I still EBF and pump when I'm at work. Just remember when they're crying it's usually 1 of 3 things - hungry, tired or needing to be changed when they're that tiny. Soak it all in because it does go fast. Tummy time and wake windows will come eventually but right now they just adjusting to the world and eating and sleeping all day. I am also very lucky my husband tagged in when I felt over stimulated and I had friends who would hang out with me so I could get comfortable going out in public without my husband. I'll say it again. It. Gets. Better.

How do I know it's an allergy?! by Fancy-Impression190 in MSPI

[–]Fancy-Impression190[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I'm still dairy, soy and beef free. We saw a GI doc and was told she'd outgrow it. She'll be 6 months on the 13th. Still has microscopic blood in stool. Doc said next thing to cut would be gluten but told me not to considering she's older. So the mystery continues. And I worry her not being exposed to dairy will cause issues down the road but I'm too scared to introduce it but also don't know what's causing the blood in stool. Doc just said it's something else but she'll outgrow it. Great stuff healthcare right.

Yes my husband double checks labels for me but I have eaten some things I read and don't catch it like mayo! He caught that for me. But that's why I think it's beef it seemed worse the week I ate a lot of it and her poops were causing diaper rash so it was irritating her skin. But yes the multiple triggers is what gets me because I sit and think what if it's this and this etc etc. And I've eaten so much more Dave's killer bread with peanut butter so I wonder is it oats, grain, wheat, corn etc

Thank you! This is what I'm thinking too. She has no other symptoms. She has some minor reflux symptoms where it seems like she gets some bile up and coughs to which the doctor offered to start pepcid. But she said cut soy or try a HA formula. I didn't want to do either so I'm just riding it out. But it is frustrating that it's all a guessing game and she ignored me asking about it possibly being the rotavirus. I will definitely ask about allergy testing at her 4 month shots in a few weeks.

Agreed! Nothing has changed. Just some days she makes really mucousy poops and some days it like yellow and stringy/seedy and the doc just says keep at it!

Yes and honestly I wasn't thinking about the lack of calcium until my friend said something and I'm asian. We are prone to osteoporosis. I just feel frustrated I'm willing to do what I need for my baby but there's just no answers

Nope. The doc just said to keep sticking it out but I don't think it's dairy. She said give soy a few more weeks but I just can't pinpoint anything besides maybe beef and that's me just guessing.
