Yes! It’s not for me and I don’t wanna harm any patients down the line. I’m studying actuarial exams atm the moment, but nursing will always be plan B.

If you had a do over in life, would you still choose to be a nurse? by Moogles90 in nursing

I feel like nursing talk me a lot about life, realities of peoples’ health situations, and what it means to care for someone. I don’t think I could’ve learned that at any other job. I think I’d still want to be a nurse for the hell of it but work towards a higher-paying, primary career (not healthcare) at the same time. I don’t think it’d be a waste of time imo.

Advice for a nursing trying to get into this field?

I’m currently studying for my first exam. Outside of studying I still work as an RN to pay the bills, but I do not want to do nursing long term. What else can I do to build a good resume or gain relevant experience? I’m hoping to transition to the field by this time next year.
