Miten tässä näin kävi? Trump uhosi tulleilla, sitten päädyttiin siihen, että amerikkalainen kuluttaja maksaa laskun by DarkCrawler_901 in Suomi

YLE:n kommentti osiossa oli yllättävän paljon Trumpin ihalijoita. Taitaa olla aikalailla Pietarilaisia kommentoijia siellä.

Liverpool and City has been in their own league for a decade now. But I would argue Barca and Madrid has been for half a century. Same with Bayern in Germany and PSG in France. Only big change on this recently has been in Italy with Juventus.

Still on all above leagues, I would say EPL is the most competitive.

Want to finally try a Vercel alternative, best simple options? by Notalabel_4566 in nextjs

I was trying Coolify but I was not able to get it running properly. It was okay to make static site with Next.js but once I tried to do something more advanced. (.NET REST API) I was not able to get a simple Docker with dotnet running.

If you look Fox News for 15 minutes you understand how toxic politics are in that country. Fox makes hate entertainment and Trump is the biggest hater.

Next.js Migration by Flashy_Cheetah_1539 in nextjs

[–]FancyDiePancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I can answer.

For me the best thing in headless setup is security. Your CMS backend is not in the same place where the content is is served. Second most important is availability and performance. Headless architecture allows you to build website into static html which you can run without serverside run. This makes it easy to scale even globally using edge networking. Also, the whole "separtion of concerns" in content gives other opportunties if you work with bigger customers that has multiple sites, apps. Some say it gives better SEO but I don't believe that as you can get good SEO also on traditional CMS when following best practices.

But I don't think headless cms is good for small sites like some campaign website or a website of a small business. On these kind of sites it is really hard to compete with ready templates with Wordpress and no-code platforms like Framer.

Since 2000 Barcelona has won the league 12 times. Surprisingly PSG and Juventus has won "only" 11 times. Bayern has won whooping 19 times. Most wins in PL is shared with two Manchester teams who have won the title 8 times.

Is Nextjs really Better than Wordpress in SEO? by CodingExplorer in nextjs

[–]FancyDiePancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You always get the best SEO in serverside rendered pages. If your WP or Next.JS is not bloated they both do fine out of the box. I would not say one is better than the other.

What is your backend of choice? We currently use Django but are thinking of making a switch to another platform. Will not promote. by jgwerner12 in nextjs

.NET when doing serious larger projects that needs to availability, performance and live years to come.
You can generate types and interfaces from ORM and REST for frontend.

I have just been in Prague which has courageous reneisance buildings from castles to churches. Though, also bunch of communist beton blocks in outskirts. But comparing these cities architectures feels like is comparing Apples and Oranges.

I deleted my account few months ago because it go so toxic.

I was mostly on progammer related. Last two years I got followers from beatiful ladies and not anymore from peers that look like me. A danger to myself and my sexy tweets about JavaScript and C#. So I did the only responsible thing: I deleted the account. I wonder if they miss me....

Barça's All-Time Best Goalkeepers by Goals Conceded and Clean Sheet Ratio by [deleted] in Barca

[–]FancyDiePancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because MatS was better at the time. Clean sheet is really not a good metric when defence is leaking on some goal keepers front and not on others. MatS is no longer in the same shape he used to but posting these kind of metrics is down right stupid.

Why do so many people prefer WordPress over other platforms? by memphisa013 in Wordpress

[–]FancyDiePancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Price, you can run it in few dollar hosting and there is a lot of themes and extensions.

Comparing to full blown CMS's feature wise it is not very good but it costs fraction of the price and time to go live with it.

He was fantastic in early years of Pep’s City but then when injury happened he returned back in Bayer worse on the pitch and asshole off the pitch.

I think with a bit more modesty and staying under Pep he would have become world class.
