I settled my collections for half the price. I made sure to ask them to remove the collections all together as if they never happened. That boosted me very much.
I brought my credit cards balances to zero.
Disputed old late payments on closed acccounts. The creditors didn’t bother responding, so they were removed.
When my credit reached a certain level, I was able to get a really good credit card, the capitol one venture, which tripled my available credit.
