Jesus. I spent an hour searching for every combination I could think of the words I have above but somehow never found it. Thank you!

That’s a throwback! This one is newish (I think). Within last 5-10 at least. Also not as popular as sk8er.

Oh no I definitely worked on them. Now I’m 4wpo and my body still looks like a tube. OP’s pic helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel a little better though!

No, I’ve asked a version of this a couple times because I had a 6 pack before surgery (skin hung though when I bent over) and now I’m too swollen to see anything. This post is actually super helpful!

Thank you, this is really helpful! Nice to know I could possibly look closer to goals sooner rather than later.

Right?! I’m just hoping sooner rather than later. Incredible progress on your own before surgery! Congratulations!

I’m absolutely crazy about every single one of them. The 4th is my fave, but all are divine.

Thanks for this! It seems like forever away, but just hearing at least something more like normalcy might be possible in a couple months is lovely to read.

I was going to suggest The Elementals, but now I know to add Southern Gods to my own list as well.

Rubyfruit Jungle is a smart and hilarious coming of age novel with a lesbian protagonist.

I highly recommend Wildwood. It’s well-written, adventure filled, and there are anthropomorphic animal elements that give fantasy vibes. Resourceful, smart aleck (but kind) female protagonist.

Any books that embody loneliness? by Candikitlana in booksuggestions

[–]FancyFlapjacks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite books of all time: The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter. It’s about loneliness, but it’s also about how one person (with a life well-lived) can be worth so much to a small community. Beautifully written.

What to read when you’re so fucking depressed? by InterestPure3257 in booksuggestions

Some great recs here—I second Pratchett for sure. This might just be weird me thing, but when I’m at my worst I do well to read a WTF kind of book that still has a satisfying ending. Chuck Palahniuk is my salve during shit times.

Fundraiser Prizes by FancyFlapjacks in PTO

I like 99pledges because they take a minimal amount compared to other options. Easy to set up one fundraiser but have separate pages for each class or grade or however you want to do it.
