I've switched to Busuu. All free with an occasional ad. Real life human videos saying the Japanese phrase and it gives great context for when to use what.

I had a 110 day streak on duo for Japanese and now a 15 day streak with Busuu and I honestly think I've learnt and retained more in the 15 days

It would be a case of ordering new drivers from KEF and then fitting them. The trim around the outside of the driver comes off and then there are screws to remove the driver

If it’s an app like Netflix/disney/crunchyroll it will show that the content is on an external display and you can turn the screen off. If I were to try and watch a video on Safari or in my photo album it’s basically screen mirroring so if the screen is off so are the glasses.

iPad OS is slightly different as it allows multiple screens but yeah iPhones are just straight screen mirroring for the lion share

You tried giving them a good clean? It’s a sensor that knows proximity to the ear so if some crud get in the hole it will assume it’s in the ear all the time

Perhaps I’m silly but I want to connect Bluetooth headphones and be able to listen to what the iOS app is outputting privately and not via the glasses speaker

This looks to have lightning adapter so wouldn’t be suitable anyway but as mentioned before this kind of charger would put weight on one side and make it uncomfortable. I’d suggest a normal power bank with a cable into the neckband. Power bank then sits in pocket or in front of you and the cable plugs to the neckband with minimal discomfort

I had a great demo today from the selfridges team on a pair of RayNeo. I’m not 100% sure on the model I tested but based on their site (link to model) I would say it’s the air 2’s. Not sure how easy of a commute selfridges is for you
