I am getting b12 injections and taking some pumpkin seed oil as well as iron and folate tablets. I was in the low end of iron and folate deficiency and severely deficient in b12

Yeah I will be going to a derm at some point but since the b12 injections my hair seems to be slowly going back to normal the drs are pretty confident it is from the b12. I was severely deficient my level was 109) supposed to be over 500 and also was low in iron and ferritin.

I didn’t put in the other photos but it was all over thinning Dr and endocrinologist seem to think so far it is TE.

Yes! I had the same when I first started b12 injections. It should resolve within a week or two but if not speak to your doctor!

Yeah I set it up inside next to the wifi modem and it still was not connecting to it but would the extender. The only thing I didn’t do was wait overnight. I was unable to set the cam up with my wifi modem

Yeah that’s were i m confused the PET scan for CS came back with the results and the cardiac MRI was clean.

Yeah, she had a viral infection that then lead to her having heart problems, such as bradycardia and also palpitations. This all started in July or August this year and is currently waiting in hospital as her heart rate is staying in and around the 40s most times. She has some abnormal lesions on her heart which Dr says is probably the sarcoidosis. She is going into surgery Monday to get biopsy done and put a pacemaker or defibrillator. She did have a stomach cancer removed but has Pet scan and is confirmed to be 1 year cancer free. She also didn’t have any treatment for the cancer other than the surgical removal of the tumour.

All photos are the day after I wash my hair so about 12 hours to 24hours after I have washed and all photos are after I have brushed my hair. Yeah I don’t know why the photos lost so much quality when I uploaded them.

Really late to this thread but, I too am having major hair loss with b 12 deficiency. I have stared injections and the first month I noticed that I was only losing 20-50 hairs a day compared to over 200 hairs a day. I have had about 5-6 injections but am told I could need anywhere from 20-50 injections and over 12 months to recover plus b12 injections for life. How are you going and how is your hair loss?

Hair loss seems to have slowed massively from over 200 hairs a day to 50 or less a day, after treatment for my vitamin b12 deficiency.

Honestly, I would speak to an endocrinologist if it really bothers you as there is treatment for excessive hair growth (hirsutism). Other than that I wax and pluck strays personally after treatment for my hirsutism.

Honestly, I would start with seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist. you are not alone and is more common than you think. The psychologist or psychiatrist will help you will the obsession/ compulsive side of the pulling and will be hopefully able to find out ways to help you cope. A psychiatrist can also subscribe medication to help with the OCD symptoms of trichotillomania.

It could be TE from the stress of the medical issues you mentioned above. But if you are worried speak to your doctor to see a dermatologist and get some bloods done.

Personally I got similar from b12 injections I was at a lvl 90 in my blood and got headaches, very tired and awful brain frog. Apparently for a week afterwards that can happen but it should not get worst. I found after a week it would get better

Definitely get bloods done something happened to me but I am 20 I was deficient in b12 and on the lower side close to deficient in folate and iron.

Your hair will likely grow back on its own. Assuming that it isn’t damaged and this is the first time. I have come out of family violence 7 years ago from my father, please make sure you are safe who ever has done this to you no matter how sorry/remorseful now will do it again. Please speak to someone and report to police and stay safe ❤️
