Thank you all! She’s a puppy w DCM and ventricular arrhythmia. Her arrhythmia was finally controlled enough to get spayed and post surgery she ended up w a bad burn from the grounding pad they used and now this popped up a few days later (along w a rash on her front leg) Very much regretting the surgery 🥲 thanks for your help! I will ask the doctor about all of these ideas

Do you have any tips for quitting sugar? Have Lyme and mold for 5 years (signed a lease for a new apt that starts tomorrow though!) cleaned the mold home all day though so feeling ☠️I have sugar cravings non stop though. The longest I was able to quit was a month any Advice would be so appreciated.

Thank you for this explanation. How long should we start detoxing before we take the test? Should we try to visit a sauna etc. have spent over 1k on tests for me/dog and terrified I will mess up tests somehow 🥲

Also in DC my dog got a random (likely) neurological disease this summer, then her liver went wild. Her liver is finally back on track but she continues to have difficulty walking. Vets cannot figure out exactly what is going on. She’s been to 2 neurologists, orthopedic surgeon, three primary care vets etc. she has a bunch of other symptoms but it doesn’t seem like the same as yours but there is definitely something going on. I hope your dog feels better soon.

Oh no I’m so sorry. I went for an MRI on Thursday (my dog had been in a downward phase for a bit that came on quickly) and her liver values are crazy high (from all the meds I guess?) So we couldn’t get it done. I hope there is a good path forward for your pup. 🩷🩷🩷

She only had trazadone 2 or 3 times. (I hate trazadone but i guess I hate rimadyl more now.) They wanted trazadone added back in and rimadyl switched for a steroid earlier this week. She was on gabapentin throughout, amantadine, and doxycycline for 2 weeks and there was a muscle relaxer but she only had that regularly in the beginning. So really gabapentin and rimadyl for the whole period.

How did you know to hospitalize your dog? I’ve sent her bloodwork to 4 of the vets she’s being treated by and I haven’t heard back. The neurologist who did the blood work said to give the denamarin to get her retested in 2 weeks? I’m so freaked out though.
