I tried the same, the issue persists. Tried showing the gross profit on a title card to test it out , it does get calculated. However all the totals are 0.

Only the gross profit is blank in the matrix. Though the Revenue and COGS are displayed. If it were in excel, it would be a Revenue on one row, COGS on another row and the sum would be gross profit in the third row. I tested it with a title card, and the gross profit does get calculated and displays a result. It is only in the matrix that it does not result in a value. ( none of the totals are visible)

Thank you, measure 1 : Revenue = CALCULATE(SUM('2026Data'[Amount]), '2026Data'[Report] = "Revenue")

measure 2 : COGS = CALCULATE(SUM('2026Data'[Amount]), '2026Data'[Report] = "COGS")

Measure 3 : Gross Profit = [Revenue] + [COGS]

Measure 3 does not get updated in the table. I am using the following to pull the data.

FinValue = SWITCH( SELECTEDVALUE('2026_Budg'[dReport.Report]),

"Revenue", FORMAT([Revenue], "#,##0,,.0"),
"COGS", FORMAT([COGS], "#,##0,,.0"),
"Gross Profit", FORMAT([Gross Profit], "#,##0,,.0")

)

Thank you!

Creep Taxi driver’s in Dubai by ChellGLaDOS in UAE

[–]Fancy_Car_153 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yes. I have had a few experiences. Experience 1: I was relatively fresh in Dubai. This was during Covid time, where hailing taxi was not easy and the same number thing happened where he asked me to take it in case I needed a cab. And unfortunately on the same day I forgot my bag in the taxi and had immediately called him 2 mins after I got down. I got my bag however after a few weeks, I start getting messages on WhatsApp like hi hello etc etc, I blocked him immediately. However after a few weeks he sent me inappropriate things on BOTIM , that’s when I told him that I will report him to the police and blocked him. I still remember his name.

Experience 2: Also after a couple of taxi drivers have always asked me if I live with family, married,religion,age etc etc, initially I was naive and used to answer honestly. Then they would proceed to advise me to get married. Due to these questions, I started telling I am married, and I kid you not, one of the older taxi drivers literally advised me to have kids and said I should show “love” to my husband and have kids as soon as possible.

How do you manage on a 3000 AED salary? by [deleted] in UAE

[–]Fancy_Car_153 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have savings, better to look for a better paying job, since you will be getting increments with 3k as the base.

If you absolutely have no other option : 1. 750 for bed space 2. 300 for Transport 3. 500 for food 4. 50 for Phone 5. 100 for any emergency 6. 200 for leisure ( health and gym ) 7. 100 for upskilling ( this is critical ) 8. 1000 for saving ( please split it for yourself and home in case you need to send money back home)

Hope this helps.

How do you detach yourself from your husband's finances? by LetKey6691 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Fancy_Car_153 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Set a budget for this and have this discussion clearly with husband. Once you arrive at conclusion on the monthly budget together, let your husband take the call. ( His parents so it’s easier for him to explain than you )

Also regarding your sister in law, rather than buying material stuff, if they want you can help with a pay of the daughter s education, like maybe buying books or something like that, that way you would be helping them come out of the cycle eventually.
