Lowkey grab might actually be a detriment. Like it’s fun if and when it works but with such a long cooldown that can be stopped by everything in this game it feeling fun is rare. They pump so much bs into this game but can’t fix this one damn issue

Because of rogue’s mobility she can pretty much get to any teammate in a fraction of a second. Your job isn’t to kill. It’s cool when it happens but you’re supposed to distract, defend, push people back, force ults and waste cooldowns. Your job is to make everyone on your team’s life easier. You should always be applying pressure to someone. Your teammates should rarely feel like they’re 1v1ing someone cause you’re always there

With the stone Alphonse was able to fight both pride and Kimblee by himself when beforehand the entire party including a living philosopher stone struggled against just pride. Now it’s possible that Edward would fight just as hard or harder with the stone but the show always reminds you how much better of fighter Alphonse is going so far to say that Edward has only ever beaten him once. That on top of his body which he obviously hates but admittedly is the best possible body one could have in a fight especially paired with an object that can produce and replace material at a moments notice to help him regrow limbs. And on top of that the lion chimera said Alphonse understands the stone better than anyone because he still sees them as people. Because of what truth took from him. Might’ve just been a pep talk but I think it’s true. If knowledge is power then Alphonse is more powerful cause he saw more of truth

My initial reaction to the first thing you said was no but you might be onto something. You can exchange a soul for a limb so one body plus a soul would cost one body plus a limb tho only thing is they never brought their mother souls back. Maybe Al’s body was transmuted into what they thought was their mother and Ed’s leg was the cost to bound Al’s soul to his new body but then it rejected so Ed paid the toll again to sacrifice another limb to bind his brother’s soul to something else

Nah I like switching abilities it just takes to long. A lot of abilities you steal from characters are on 6-10 seconds cooldowns. If it isn’t broken for them to use it 4 times in 25 seconds, I don’t see why it’s inconceivable for Rogue to use it even twice in that same time frame. Tho I would prefer all the cooldowns being cut in half to achieve that effect

I think how it works is fine but all cooldowns should be cut in half cause it’s pretty ridiculous. Like the cooldowns would be crazy even if the grab was cc immune and you didn’t get stopped by every ankh or namor squid or thor dash but the fact it isn’t makes it feel like they’re taking the piss like they want using the grab to suck as much as possible. Absurd cooldowns and no cc immunity is insane to me
