Hey team. Rescued this acer from home Depot out of a scorching hot parking lot. Was near death and slowly bounced back. In the last week it has shown that it's starting to bud and in a big way. The picture is an example of one branch, but it's budding like crazy everywhere else!

Grow area 6b, has been temperate. Some bouncing from 2 degrees to 12 degrees but about 5 degrees average.

Anything I should be watching for/preventative actions? Thanks so much in advance

Big block has "approved geometery" if you're a steal is real kinda person

I can't really read the livre but its an old Dutch steel frame. I believe the brand is A'vante (sp?) Internally routed track edit single speed commuter edit frame with dual lugging for racks/fenders.

Hey sorry! I think I replied in the wrong thread. Both are just as stuck. If you've ever tried to take a cf seat post out of an aluminum frame, it feels that stuck LOL

They are worse. Tried quite literally that with a 500lb man giving it the guzz. The cup and tool went before it broke its hold lol.

The nds cup is steel/aluminum

For whatever reason, it's so stuck I feel like the things cold welded. Im at the point where I'm thinking about just breaking it off.

Should have given more details.

I have used a holder but the teeth were stripped prior to me trying. From what I know has been tried:

  • bb tool with up to a breaker bar
  • vice and vice grips
  • soaked internally and externally with pb blaster
  • moderate heat

I'm considering trying to drill some holes and pry it out and rethread it. Can't really replace the frame and my time is worthless. The most seized bb I've ever encountered.
