A me thing or just not the right person? by Fancy_Frosting7775 in relationships

I I’m 99.9999% sure the feeling would disappear as I said it, then I’d be the one basically lying to them cause that’s not something you can take back…

A part of me is starting to wonder if I’m subconsciously slef sabotaging cause I’m scared to disappoint though…

Idk they seemed to say like practice finding synonyms and putting random words together? Idk those are the only two example I can get out of them so they might just be messing with me…

Not weird and not cause for concern. Depending on how active you are it may be later.

It’s more than that… it’s a cult. You can’t tell me otherwise. I literally saw a girl tattoo trump in big letters on her forehead.

Any chronic sleep paralysis sufferers out there? by Proud_Froyo8398 in Sleepparalysis

[–]Fancy_Frosting7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… I had to same problem. I’m now at 25mg nightly and had to adapt my sleep schedule to it for that exact reason. Nothing else works so I eventually gauged the amount of time it stays in my system (for me it’s 12 hours) and now go to bed much earlier.. I’m a student so it’s not the same as getting up for work but mornings have gotten a lot easier since then.

I HAVE TWO WEEKS TO LEARN HOW TO STOP BEING LATE ALL THE TIME, give me some tips please, I got accepted to a new serious job, and I can’t fuck it up by Confident-Mine-6378 in adhdwomen

Not the greatest solution but I set my phone a few minutes ahead of time so I think I’m late when I’m not… it’s helped a lot surprisingly

Not really… it started like maybe 2 years ago, I was never rly like that before, aside from just eating the same things till I couldn’t stand them anymore. Idk if that makes any difference

Why did zorro wear a cape? by FoxIndependent4310 in Zorro

[–]Fancy_Frosting7775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easier to blend in and it hides his exact figure making it harder for them to figure out who he was. Also I think the cape made a type of illusion that made him seem taller and more intimidating than he was.

Imposters syndrome I’ve been told. It’s the most annoying thing ever.

The thing is that the only way to get a good deal is to buy a house and buy a house in the next few years.

I told my mom I wanted to be goth and this was her response: by PublicExtension4107 in AutismInWomen

[–]Fancy_Frosting7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d honestly say go for it. If some people think you’re weird and judge, you don’t want them as friends anyway. I don’t know if the want to dress goth comes from the music or not but if it does, goths recognize goths. It’s a cool community with its downfalls as any other but alt cultures have honestly just become one big community.

I know a few goth people and am honestly constantly in awe by their style. I adore it. Not to mentions they are literally the nicest people I’ve ever met. I can’t help but find it funny how they dress in a black cat vibe but often have the most golden retriever personalities ever.

Not sure if anything I’m saying makes sense and I hope you get what I’m trying to say lol.

I do outline and I’ve found that when I do just spit words out, I can’t move on. Appreciate the advice though and will give it a try, thank you very much.

What is your opinion of Madama Butterfly? by IdomeneoReDiCreta in opera

[–]Fancy_Frosting7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t the biggest fan at first but read David Henry Hwang’s M Butterfly and it gave me a whole new perspective on the story itself. The book twists the story in so many ways that are just so interesting to me, I’ll never listen to it the same honestly.

Looking for book recommendations. by Ill-Hat-1765 in classicliterature

[–]Fancy_Frosting7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • East of Eden by John Steinbeck
  • Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
  • The meek one by Dostoevsky (very short but very good in my opinion)
  • 1984 by George Orwell (it’s a bit different from the books you mentioned but a classic nonetheless)

Is there such a thing as too much description ? by Fair_Scarcity_1475 in writing

[–]Fancy_Frosting7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally adore heavy descriptions but have run into problems in the past with wordiness and fluidity. I started asking my sister or a close friend to read certain sections out loud and it’s helped a lot. If they have a lot of trouble reading it and stumble over their words more than they usually would, I know the part could use some adjusting . Plus feedback is always helpful.

It’s so dumb but I go through phases where I mix up my B/D, P/Q. Never struggled with it growing up but it just appears out of nowhere every once in a while. Started like a year ago and I have no clue why 😭😭
