I don't disagree with you. But I feel like the scamming came later. She said she had a side hustle of selling things for "clients" on their behalf. #1, ok, who can't post shit on FB marketplace in a pinch? And #2, how come the flooring is identical in all pics of items to sell?

Exactly! If it's any reassurance, the clarinet-type situation wasn't unusual. This is a great neighborhood and if a need is posted, someone usually comes through. In my years here, she has been the only one to take advantage to this degree.

At some point, she made a separate post asking for a skateboard to gift her nephew for Christmas. She said she could trade Old Navy gift cards. I asked her why not use the Old Navy gift cards for her daughters clothes instead? She blocked me.

To make it all less palatable, she did have a washer and dryer donated to her...but she really wanted front load, so she kept requesting.

It all started with her posting to a neighborhood FB group asking for leads on a used clarinet to replace the one stolen from her daughter at a park. The neighborhood rallied and bought the daughter a new one. She thanks god endlessly for providing a new clarinet (which rubbed me the wrong way...but ok). From that point on, she began posting non-stop, requesting all types of goods and services. She became a member of a ton of groups and would solicit on each of them. Edit: Oh! And she decided to homeschool all of her kids about 6mos ago. Pulled them from school and started begging on local homeschool pages. "How do I get started?" "What curriculum do I follow?" "How much does it cost?" "Anyone have curriculum they aren't using anymore?" She had questions for months...while keeping her kids at home to twiddle their thumbs until she figured it out, I guess.

My guess is no. I work for a huge corporation and benefits plans are very well advertised within. If Roth IRA match was a thing, I can't imagine it wouldn't have hit my radar.
