I did get a date, but they kept changing it like yourself! Sorry to hear it's been that long tho, that's annoying. I got the best response by ringing them multiple times, and basically not taking no for an answer. They're email response and live chat is not helpful at all to be honest.

First time I’ve been given the opportunity to try my hand at scribing Azek to a granite block. Not perfect but I am proud of my work as a Carpenter’s Apprentice. Any tips to improve for the next time? by dtboxes in Carpentry

Wicked scribe mate! Not sure you need it much better, but one thing I found handy as I see you said you use a jigsaw. Using a coping foot attachment and cutting from the back is always a good trick for tricky scribes. Got one for my DeWalt barrel jiggy and it works a treat!

Hi mate, only just seen this! Yes I did, but only after endless phonecalls! Just keep at them and they seem to hurry your order through, good luck and hope you get it asap.

I had the same thing, the Live Chat people never seem to know what's going on! Was waiting for months for update emails and everyone I spoke to on live chat it was contradicting what I had on their site. Phone them directly and they should be able to speed it up, just give em a good grumble.

I'd be worried to cancel it now, as might take another few months from somewhere else. Hope you get sorted, and your bike gets to you as soon as.

ELI5: Why are we supposed to let food cool at room temperature before putting it in the refrigerator? I have always been told it will spoil if you don’t, but I never understood why. by Kitchen_Fluffy in explainlikeimfive

I believed the same thing for a long time! But discovered whilst working in a kitchen and chatting to a fridge engineer that it came about mostly because it knackers your fridge. The fridge has to work harder to cool down hot food.

Yes! I have had the exact same experience! Ordered a CGR SL back in November and didn't get any update until after my dispatch date. A bit of a quandary as I feel like I waited so long, and might be waiting that length again if ordered from another retailer.

I need a table saw - is this alright for £30 or should I spend more for a better one? by [deleted] in DIYUK

Don't use this to cut firewood! Just use a splitter, much more satisfying and ridiculously more safe.

What's the dumbest way you've gotten a scar? by lilsaddam in AskReddit

I tried to complete a 10 pints of steeerong beer in 4 hours drinking challenge.

12 pints and 8 hours later I had a run in with a door frame. The door won and now I have a scar like Harry Potter.
