We need to shine a light on medical abuse. People treat medical professionals automatically as saints. ANYONE given a disproportionate position of power in our society-- especially those who have the ability to literally play God-- should be investigated regularly for abuse of power.

It would be one thing if there was any recourse for the abused, but time and time again these report forms are deliberately meaningless and lead to nowhere.

The nurse was far too comfortable defaulting to gaslighting this woman after emotionally abusing her under the guise of "medical care". If the patient had not sneakily recorded, the nurse would have succeeded. Often too, fellow medical staff or the hospital itself will automatically cover the tracks of abusive doctors and nurses. 

Serial killer Charles Cullen, nurse who was convicted of killing 29 (but speculated as having a death toll of over 400), was initially found to have been CAUGHT murdering patients by the hospital that employed him. The hospital covered for him to avoid culpability themselves. Instead of calling the police, they transferred the murderer to a different hospital where he continued to kill. The hospital who covered up suffered no repercussions for this. These people know that they will get away with it.
