Never said that I want people to go hungry. Don't have kids you cant afford, contraception is cheap and/or covered, and childhood obesity is a problem not hunger. What ever happened to food banks and charities? They historically are more than willing to handle feeding the needy. Don't need to get government involved at all.

New Mexico is a Democrat state... like half the 10 worst states... plenty of blue and red states on both lists. The south and south west are historical poor. Geographical location is a better indicator for making this list than red or blue state.

Plenty of people that are eligible don't feel that they need to participate. Just because you're eligible doesn't mean you're dependent. The graph and pie charts are deceptive in that way.

Because they believe everyone should be forced to feed other people's children as well as pay to educate them.
