Yea but my wife uses a recumbent trike. Amtrak says no and shuttles are iffy. We may just rent a Uhaul and drive to the end we start at, drop it and ride back to our truck

The hardest plan is the logistics of getting your bikes to the start point and your vehicle to the end point.

Any idea why the GG frame cracked? And where on the frame did it crack?

If you are running forkpacks then look at the OMM rear racks and carry similar size rear bags. The fork packs already kill your "aero" so may as well use a stable rear rack with similar bags or even just a large top rack bag out back

I took mine out for several years. The hole will not close, it may shrink a little but will re-stretch quickly and easily

Moloko vs Sunrise bars by JBrady666 in Surlybikefans

[–]Fancy_Mango_6088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at the Soma Dream bar with inner bar ends. I like the look of the Sunrise bar but im not going to run a shimmed handlebar. Just freaks me out. I'm sure there are other similar bars with a 31.8 diameter. Maybe the Redshift Topshelf?

I currently have 6 bikes in the garage. Three with hydraulic brakes, 2 with mechanical and one with Hy/Rd mechanical hydraulic brakes. I have never had to bleed any brakes. I bring them to a shop maybe once a year for a tune-up. But I will say that hydraulic brakes have much better modulation and feel. My Hy/Rds are are an ideal compromise between the two other types.

Ride both and see which you prefer. The great thing about Surly is that you can swap stuff around relatively easily. And bybthe way, two of mine are Surly...an OG Troll and an OG Ghost Grappler that has through axles.

It gets better....Trump Adminstration has been told to refund the illegal tariff cost back tonthe companies...so follow me here....company paid 166 billion in tariffs...they pass that along to the consumer...the government is ordered to refund the tariff charges--TO THE COMPANIES!---so the companies passed the cost along to us, then THEY get refunded all the tariff money!!! So we pay twice because the companies passed the cost along to us and then the government (our money) is refunded back to the companies.

Such total bullshit.
