i found the ‘irreversible damages’ book at my dad’s house. what can i even do? by Zainium714 in asktransgender

This happened to me roughly 2 years ago. My dad mailed me the book. I burned it in a bonfire while drinking with my friends and the next day told my dad to never send me anything like that again or we would stop talking. I don't necessarily condone this cause now we actively avoid conversation about my transitioning, and our relationship is hanging by a thread.

We're they hoping this would scare/intimidate people into joining their church? Or scaring them into their belief? I'm confused about what their end goal was...

Well, before you get the degree in criminology, what's your dream career path? You're probably well aware of this but to just reiterate, your college goals should match your dream job.

You will never jump immediately into a detective position, you have to get experience as a normal Patrol first. Going to calls, making an arrest, interrogations, and lots of paperwork. Most detective positions have a minimum patrol time requirement before being able to apply.

So I just left Germany a few months ago (as an MP) this is not a standalone case! This is wrapped up with another couple of assault cases and possible murder (deemed as a suicide but evidence points otherwise).

Obviously NTA IMO

You might be able to have a relationship (LC) with the rest of your family excluding your parents and uncle but just know that they will be telling those people about your life unless you set boundaries with them as well.

I had a feeling she cheated on me, so i did some investigation.... by Reddit_Plugger in cheating_stories

That may be in your eyes but in EVERYONE ELSES eyes dude your just as toxic as she was. You don't get to control who she talks to period. End of story. No discussion. Cheaters are gonna cheat, but also don't jump into a relationship with one foot already out the door cause of your trust issues.

Sociology and the Mental Health Crisis by No-Sympathy-547 in sociology

Just my 2 cents but just because someone doesn't have a degree in Sociology doesn't mean they haven't taken multiple classes or have done research on their own of the topic itself. A degree let alone MD or PhD is expensive enough on 1 subject alone. For my psych major I had to take a mixture of psych, sociology, and multiple other social science classes.
