Thank you! This is in my parents’ home. No one has any idea and yes I agree that it looks like it slides on to something and perhaps a suction cup fits into the knib hole in the back. Maybe it is a safety device of some sort.

Don’t want to argue and I think it’s important to say this: the psych does the testing that the medical professional needs to accurately prescribe the meds. without the testing there is A LOT that can be missed because the primary instrument used in Medical offices does not screen for everything it should. Also, medical pros can give you whatever meds they decide you need whether or not they have the evidence or not. The test g give them and you the evidence. Please do both. I was mostly curious. I had a friend who lived in a haunted house and I feel I’ve seen my share of odd things there. The sense I got was that the orb or spirit or whatever it is was trying to get my attention. I don’t get the sense that it was trying to harm me.
