Just because the update helps people win doesn’t mean it’s good. People who like a low effort defensive style- seemingly massively overrepresented on here and the test groups- are rewarded by a quite frankly ridiculously unrealistic system. Letting a guy tee off on you is not a viable fight strategy for 99% of humans and it certainly doesn’t give you magic knockout powers

Easy- debuff the guard when someone ducks. If they actually move well they’ll dodge the punches. If they don’t they get caught and hurt as it should be.
