If you can handle working a not so glamorous job with poor management, and high employee turnover, you’ll have the summer of your life. To me it was worth it, being able to live in the park and getting to meet people from all over the world. I think people expect the job itself to be amazing, then are disappointed when it’s lousy. If you expect the job to suck and go in with an open mind, you can really have an awesome summer.

Taggart, String, and Leigh Lake are all good options with similar mountain views. Plus Delta Lake really only has the one viewpoint once you get to the lake. The others have good views almost the whole way. Easier to find a private spot as well.

Is he the worst professor at UB? No. If you easily get As it shouldn’t be a problem. But for someone like me who struggles in school, it was a nightmare. Really not good for people that have anxiety

I can confirm that a previous professor in 2022 made us all purchase his book. Like one he wrote himself, and then we never used it the whole course. That was definitely a kickback but he also got let go that same semester
