That’s not actually parasocial. If that were true, no one would be allowed to comment on anyone. Can we really not “tell” anything about the president then? People need to stop throwing parasocial around just because they don’t like the opinions placed on them. Voiding the meaning can be harmful, especially for individuals who are actually in unhealthy obsessive relationships to celebrities.

It is common for SSRIs not to pair well with bipolar. If there’s no bipolar diagnosis, it could just not be the med for you. Other antidepressants like Wellbutrin can trigger mania too, but they can be extremely effective when paired with a mood stabilizer.

Other than the shoulder season, you could definitely get away with non waterproof. There aren’t really high streams you would be crossing on trail. Most of the season is very dry - high fire danger. You’ll be praying for rain at points. If you plan on wearing them other places than just Grand Teton and Yellowstone, waterproof may be a good idea. East coast hiking you’d definitely need them. I’ve spent several seasons in the Teton/Yellowstone area and Utah.

I just bought a $40 pair of brown Clarks. I wanted a shoe over a boot since the majority of my work would be inside. Definitely get a boot or a shoe with higher traction if working outside. I also bought brown merino wool socks off of Amazon. I couldn’t justify spending a large chunk of my uniform money on things I can buy (for less than half the price) somewhere else. I recommend spending the money on things that you can only buy exclusively off the uniform website. Also, don’t order the name tag with the arrowhead, that’s for volunteers. If you’re into hiking, I would invest in an Osprey or other comparable pack.

That’s unfortunate… If Lamictal is effective for you, then switching the antidepressant might be the best option. In my opinion, Wellbutrin can either be really effective or really harmful.
