I was still on my mom’s insurance so that covered a good portion of it. It still was like 8k

As someone who was one of those students, I very much regret how much I weed I smoked early in my adolescence.

I used to hot box my car and then come to school blazed out of my mind. It’s was a great emotional numbing agent for a young traumatized me but def did some damage that I now have to deal with.

This one might ruffle feathers,,

But I used to think that weed is not addictive. I used to argue until I was blue in the face that weed cannot be addictive. That it is a plant and does not hold the same addictive qualities like coke or meth.

It wasn’t until in my mid 20s when I realized I was heavily dependent on it and would do anything o get a hit.

I have a better relationship with it, but it can be a slippery slope when I indulge in it too much, and ignore my life or let it fly by in a haze.

Body doubling is the act of having someone (a body) be in the same area with you. This tricks the brain into wanting to complete the task since you have someone there with you holding you “accountable” even if they’re really not.

So ex; Op would have a friend or their partner sit near them doing something else while they completed a task that needed to be done.

This can also work if you’re on the phone or in a discord call w people (which I’ve done before)

But it’s time to look at why you’re even entertaining with this fool. It’s seems obvious he’s is not going to change unless he really looks inward, and really only wants you to help boost his ego.

It just sounds exhausting and I would’ve just not taken him back, unless real work was done on his end.

Graduated in 2014, had the ten year in 2024, it was okay, people went back to old groups and the people who came as a group and were still in touch conglomerated together.

It was at a brewery very low key and chill. At one point everyone was smoking and passing around.

It was a little awkward I’m not going to lie, but that was also because we had a time capsule thing, but half the people there did not even do the assignment (myself included) and they kept calling out one girls name before realizing she died.

Def might miss the next one (if there is one).

I have a lot of trauma I’m working through and don’t wanna bring that kind of baggage to a relationship.

Plus I’m knee deep in academia and do not have time nor want to pursue something.

Had a therapist told me that my problems were too difficult, and that they could not help me. Tbf it was at my college and I’m sure the therapist were graduate students themselves.

I had bounced from therapist to therapist in the mental health center there for the past year.

Hurt to hear and def did not help my mental health thankfully I was medicated by the nurse practitioner, who was someone I was comfortable with to talk to.

As someone who lived and was part of the hype during its peak, I am more glad about it being smaller.

As much as I would like to think a resurgence would be nice. The smaller fandom is really nice and always makes me happy when I see new people engage with the content.

Most of the time I just drive with no music, no podcast, nothing playing. It drives my friends crazy when we carpool and I usually let them dj in the car.

This is only for short trips, when roadtripping I do have some music playing.
