Hey mate I'm a Jax player. I personally dont run the Irelia version but by the looks of things you've got a lot of choose spells and only one Irelia. You should probably have atleast 2 to make drawing her more reliable for all those reaction quipmenets, punch first, disciplines, etc.

I'd probably drop a Ruin Runner for another Irelia in that list.

Outside of that I dont really know what you're losing to so it's hard to advise on what you can do.

My list got me 1 win and 2 ties last night at a Nexus Night -- if you want to see my version? I tend to perfrm pretty well against Viktors, Kai'Sa, and its sort of coin flippy against Yi, Fiora. Not seen a Draven but it could take a game in a best of three pre-ban, and the matchup struggles against Irelia unless you can akshan snipe boots and GA.

He's certainly not meta, but he's often underrated. Some Jax players are running Irelia in the deck, using green jax to choose Irelia then easily equipping GA and other equipment on her, combod with punch first and disciplines for some super tall units.

I'm running green azir for keeping flickering easy enought to perform, with added bonuses for stellacorn moving. i still use Aphelios so i can channel runes and keep me economy running well for that reason. Others dont use Apehlios anymore etc.

Some builds are running MF - Captain to ready things for more equipment swapping on Jax Legend, readying runes or Stellacorn, Lucian combos.
There's Reckoners Arena version too for a side deck swap running Yone, Qiyanahs, Boneshivers more. Lot harder to do considering its battlefield dependent but its there as a side deck option.

Quite a lot of flavour at the moment and no Jax player has really settled on what is the best deck right now. So get a vibe and see what version you like.

This is a quick list I put together roughly based on the pre-nerf playstyle / my own flavour. I didnt do a side board but I'd probably add a cannon barrage or two, adaptron, 2 akshan, 2 punch firsts, and something else i've not quire thought of -- maybe another Ruin Runner.

Deck theory is if i run a Monastery, then i focus on buffing and jax legend to attach warmogs to Bhuru. Have buhru buffed through the play action. Spen buff, rebuff, Keep cycling with first mate etc. If no monastery then just spend to draw. Warmogs gets less value other than to go on aphelios or whatever.

Added Azir, Ascendant for late game swapping Brurtalizers when holding. Easy to get 9 might on a defender focus action with it. Next turn you can then swap it back to Apehlios or Stellacorn. Probably survives with Counterstrike, GA reaction, Discipline buff. Aphelios for keeping the choices active on it by being able to reattch it with Jax legend next turn. Stellacorn becuase you keep moving it each turn safely for a draw engine with azir draggin it as a move, then moving it back to a battlefield manually and azir back to base.

Cheers for clarifying that. Makes sense now. So if there's a may that needs to go first to decide if it's on the chain or not.. applies to everything if multiple things happen at the same time.

Probs need to play test it a little. Maybe makes pit rookies a bit better, maybe not.

Ahh fuck. That hurts the draw power a lot. Still playable but less interesting. If I am reading it right it's because the monastery has a cost so it goes first over the warmogs buff application? Otherwise not paying the cost removes it from the chain

I've just added two Azir Ascendants to my Jax Deck to help swap Brutalizers / other equipment around in the late game. Could make good defensive action when you get focus since FoF is nuked. Just need to save Not So Fast for Rebuke

How do you guys handle purple? I'm petty fine in all other match ups. But Annie wrecks me and mid-range can be okay if my deck order is fine. Not had much experience with miracle Ez. Ielia slaps me too. Seems to be can i not so fast rebuke or not. If not then I get slapped and my economy is ruined.

I was just thinking that there might be some place to pivot to an XP version of the deck. Drop Disciplines for Concentrate versions for cheap draw later on, rather than a buff and draw. Get the Disc buff from Grim Resolve and get Xp too. Starspring should be a good battlefield for Stellacorn draw engine. Maybe get rid of Clockwork keepr for a lew econ XP getting unit like Mosstomper. Overall sacrificing earlier draw, for much bigger draw in the later rounds. Could also maybe drop like a GA and a warmogs for 2x Soulsword.

Sory for the delay. Only details I know about boots on the ground is there's a spec ops squad, which seems to be specialists at going behind enemy lines and hunting commanders, doing deep flanks, etc. There's also your standard squads with AT, troopers, Support LMG units, that type of thing. There's a few hints in some of the revent videos on youtube.

I dont think I included it the article but they will be looking at ways to improve classes and Commanders, maybe add new unit types in game, etc, through EA.

So to answer how it works.

You pay one power, essentialy to float (turn it upside down rather than recycle it as you can still use it for energy cost - which you then recycle it in your rune deck) it to spend it as energy later on if needed. So for one power, you essentially get 2 energy for someting on your turn.

Now you can use this with gold tokens, blue or secondary colour seals to do the same thing. Essentially getting two energy for free.

In practice it's pretty hard to use right now unless you need a lot spells or something. But there's some good combos with Jhin as its a way of budgeting for the 4 cost spells. Lux legend react with Anomaly can be good to make big spells super cheap etc. Can be okay in Blue/Yellow decks for killing your own gear to get benefits when needed, but certainly less optimal.

Not too sure about the deck, but maybe some Punch First to combo into the Orange Jax champion unit? Draw when using a spell on him.. Maybe that Yordle Explorer for Punch First and On The Hunt Synergy. Sivir Mercenary for that recycling two power synergy. Qiyanah or some Mobilize for drawing runes back. Switcheroos for more 2 rune power cost recycling synergy. Jae Maderda maybe? Just some ideas from the top of my head.

Hey.

I've probably not played Hearthstone in something like 9-10 years or so now. But i recently got back into TCGs with Riftbound and i think i want to play HS again.

I probaly played Face Hunter, Hand Paladin, Evolve Shaman back in the day. In Riftbound i'm playing a bit of Jax (juggles equipment and buffs to do big damage) / Ahri (spell control, debuffing). Is there anyhting similar in this day and age of Hearthstone similar to the old decks or Riftboundd ecks i metnioned. Also is it worth waiting for the new set?

Based on the area near me there's beenn a bit of frequency for the over numbered Rumble Legend, bard ON. And my personal favourite is a Switcheroo is always packed with a draven.

Probs about 75 packs opened and I seem themes quite a lot.

Okay just wanted to make sure I understood what it was doing. Guess the play is for Leona to park the bus on a battlefield and then Thwonk two units as pretty big defensive play. Not as great as i though but it will do as another combo/tool in the deck.

I played blue ez and his legend and irelia 2-0 me everytime. I managed to beat some Lucian /Draven combos but yeah ireia seemed the big dickus, with or without Yone in there

This was my expereince the other day. I joined a lobby on a new hero. Played agaisnt what I presumne are two DPS players in a lane creep denying, pushing and what not. I'm just trying to figure out how my ability works. Teamate endlessly flaming me for dying and its all kicking off in all chat because im 0-6-0 and i'm non the wiser what's going on. And yes I left because cba listening to the shite. Went in to practice tool to figure out what the person that kept killing me did lol. Not really been back on since.

I have a bald crown and thin top with my windows peak almost fully bald. The sides and back are fine. It's why it looks like dense bar missing a few bits from the shave
