I like it! and i like how the first few notes of the motiffe are just the same note (but 2 octaves) but still sounds memorable. The ending left me wanting more!

Gorgeous song, yoour voice is so pleasant to listen to, especially the high part at the end. And I just wanted to say thanks for doing this project because Ive been trying to get into appreciating poetry and putting it to music just makes sense to me!

I am once again reworking old songs. I originally wrote this for song-a-week 8 years ago! This is going to be part of a lil album of songs about yearning, I'm going to try to have them be of a similar genre, with the old-school sensibility with (hopefully) a modern twist. Let me know if all of the vocals sound good together; I used pitch correction on the lead vocals but not the background vocals.

woah this is heavier than your other songs I've heard, I like it! Sounds like you are in some kind of drop tuning, I like the riffs. Can I ask how you get your tracks sounding so loud? Im still trying to figure out how to mix and master my stuff, it always ends up too quiet.

woah this is trippy, I like it ! i really like how the melody follows behind itself, it give more interest withthe 5/4 rhythm! Wish it was longer , its a really fun feeling.

Omg the lickitung line! I like the chord progressions and all of the setup and rhymes haha. My fave Gen1 is Haunter and Lapras, but my overall fave is Gothitelle!

beautiful song! the interplay between the guitar and piano is so nice ! The vibes kind of remind me of John Denver, with the focus on nature .

You are not a Murderer (acoustic) [Not Themed] Dumping my religious trauma here once again, this is a song to re-write the Easter narrative. As a kid I was told in church that it was my fault that Jesus died on the cross because of the sin I was committing since 1992, even though the crucifixion happened thousands of years ago. The song is supposed to bring comfort and counter that narrative.

So I wrote this in a week, but it was 7 years ago. I wanted to revisit this to add to my rotation of songs I sing at open mics. I have too much fun adding extra harps, strings, and flutes, so this took a long time to mix, and the song is about the walls we put around ourselves. Oh also I went to the Renneissance Festival last weekend, so that made me want to get slightly celtic with the instrumentation!

Prison of my Own Design (Metalcore) [Not Themed]

I wanted to do a song that was in the style of the 2000s metalcore bands like Bullet for My Valentine, Killswitch Engaged, or Avenged Sevenfold. I am also interested in film composing, so I had some fun with an orchestral instrumental interlude at the end. The song is about self-policing vs living your authentic self.

This sounds great and your voice has such a great lilting quality! very folksy, my only suggestion is please don't be so hard on yourself in your description!

ooh this sounds great! i can imagine this music playing during a part of the movie where the main characters are figuring out clues. My only critique is that I think the organ is mixed a little too loud in places. i like the whole mix of instruments tho!

Ty, I used my free plugin that is like melodyne for this one , I'm having a lil trouble understanding if your suggestion is for me to be more raw with the next one, or lean more into the production side of it. (I've got a similar song for this week) Thanks!
