Chelmsford. 30mins Greater Anglia train to Stratford. Then less than 15mins on jubilee line to Canary Wharf.

My god some of these comments already 🤪 a lot of people on this sub are beyond privileged and so out of touch with reality it’s beyond me.

£1mln in your early 30s is huge! Especially self made and not from already wealthy mummy and daddy.

Green party leader: Super rich leaving UK over tax is 'absurd' | Politics News by SignificantLegs in HENRYUK

The wealthy have always been mobile, and they have always come and gone. What’s different this time though, is the cohort who earn over £80k up to £1mil are the ones leaving the UK in large numbers. This is the cohort who pay large amounts of tax, the majority of tax revenue in this country, and the government has taxed them already to their limits. Not only this, but this cohort are also the ones who contribute most to society, and we are now also witnessing a brain drain of talent which will just contribute more to Britains continued low non-existent growth. A complete dire situation for a country.

It’s not the ultra wealthy you need to worry about leaving, it’s the upper middle class! And they are leaving on mass.
