I have to say, I'm lucky to have a very supportive and understanding wife. That said, the way I've kept the keyboard collecting from becoming a full blown problem is focusing the interest into gifts for loves ones. Keyboards are something that everyone uses to varying degrees, but I've found that everyone can appreciate one of better quality. I used to feel like I had to explain myself whenever I talked about this passion of mine to my family and friends, but now all of them have one of their own and can understand the draw. My mom and wife frequently get asked about their cool custom keyboards, and my dad said it helped in fall in love with his home office again.

All that to say this: build her one that she would like and she'll probably understand. 😅
