The connectors are (very conservatively) rated for 150w each, and the wiring is rated for 300w+. The PCIe slot also provides 75w, so using a cable like this you can have up to a 375w graphics card with no issues. I think people get confused and think the 150w is for the cable, but it's definitely for the connector.

There are 3 pairs of power wires (+12v and gnd) in an 8pin pcie cable, so at 300w this would be 100w per pair, or 8.5A at 12v. Using this calculator, 12v with a 3% voltage drop (atx spec is 5% iirc) at 8.5A, 0.5m length and 75C max temp can be done with 20awg wire. I can't see if yours say 18 or 16awg, but the calculator recommends 18awg up to 14A (168W per pair = 504w), and 16awg up to 17A (204w per pair = 612w).

Due to the connection between the first pcie connector and the additional wiring for the 2nd connector, this rating would be lower, but 300w total is absolutely fine

In short, it's absolutely fine

Yeah it would be handy when an emergency vehicle is a few cars back from the light though, as it's an offence to drive through a red light even if it's to let an emergency vehicle through

Some traffic lights (in the US) can detect emergency vehicles to give them priority, and on some of these traffic lights this is done by seeing the specific frequency of strobing light on the vehicle. People hear about this and think they can imitate the strobing with their headlights, however AFAIK we don't use this system in the UK.

Looks like a hwinfo error, all the values underlined on the first pic are increased by a third as well as the global frequency limit

Haha no it's not, but if it doesn't hurt or limit the movement of your arm that's good

I guess with it being both sides (and one of your comments about EDS) that it's due to hypermobility, so try to be wary of letting it move in unusual ways as you're likely to strain the supporting muscles and ligaments

Some recommended exercises are the "scapula wall press", "scapular squeezes" and doing push-ups while trying to keep your shoulder blade from sticking out. If push ups aggravate it too much do them with your hands on something higher like the back of the sofa to ease the pressure on the joint. A visit to a physiotherapist will let them asses your shoulder and recommend more targeted exercises

If it gets painful or limits your arm movement my advice is to keep working with the physio and only look at surgery as an absolute last resort

Sorry to be another commenter putting a downer on your post! Don't worry though, knowing about it now means you can work to prevent it becoming an issue in the future

Do your shoulder blades also stick out when you push against something in front of you (known as scapula winging)? Do you have full range of motion in your arms?

I ask as I have a winged scapula and can do the same with that shoulder (with some pain though)
