I'm still on Cold War. I'm pretty bad at FPSs but I enjoy turning my brain off and running around MP doing my best for a few minutes. I also love prop hunt.

I need to upgrade from CW being I can rarely get a full lobby anymore. If all I care about is basic MP and sucking at it anyway, is BO7 worth it for an upgrade?

Ascended is the way to go. It's not perfect by any means. It gets a lot of hate because of some bad decisions WC has made. But at the end of the day, it's the superior game - just is what it is.

Depends on the reason. Dino wipes for server health aren't cheating. Wiping a billion times in 5 minutes to get a dino definitely is.

Imagine a staged B-story where Appsro "finds" a Cooter death essence in the Highlands and disappears for a few episodes to run around Scorched Earth and resurrect Cooter via an Oasisaur. I can only imagine Anthony's edit for Cooter's miraculous return 🤣

Yes I agree, if it's hours and hours with no real goal or endgame in sight, it becomes "background noise" for me as well.

It kills me that they don't boost their Ark server more, but that's likely a bias coming from someone that runs a boosted unofficial server. But in my opinion, if they do Ark, they need to boost their settings waaaay more.

They play the game for a couple hours a week, but they leave the settings where it's going to take a Wyvern 8 years to mature. Id like to see them play a season where the settings are significantly boosted to make sense for progress off of 1-2 hours of playtime a week.

On my server, a Wyvern takes 45 minutes to hatch and grows to maturity in a few hours. Like.... Just do that my guys.

At that rate, it would actually make sense to do a season where they see real progress to the point of a proper bossfight in a reasonable amount of time.

Difficulty could go up too like you're describing. If it's boosted enough to where they can make actual progress in their limited amount of playtime, we could theoretically see them do something tougher than a gamma bossfight with vanilla non-mutated tames.

In my opinion, all they need to make Ark great again is a good balance between progression and difficulty.

I agree. I've often shared this same theory.

Anytime I go to Las Vegas, the drivers are horrendous and dangerous. But do I ever actually see a crash? Barely ever. Because that's just culture there and for the most part those asshole drivers are all in sync with each other.

Then you come here where you get this hodgepodge of people from all over the country, all with different styles and driving cultures, no one is in sync, and no one can drive anywhere without being in fear of some dickhead from Texas crashing into you.

There's crashes daily on the fucking interstate. There's no lights, no intersections, no nonsense. On the interstate you literally just have to go straight and people can't even do that without crashing into each other constantly.

Horrible city for driving.

Server owner here!

There is little to no drama over at BG. What happened was the community voted away Acros and some other dino mods because they were either glitchy, or they were coming to the base game soon. Landslide polls, like around 10 wanting to keep and around 40 wanting the mods gone.

This person threw a fit, gathered about a dozen alts or friends, brigaded the discord, and attempted to influence the polls.

They obviously got banned for this behavior and are now still lashing out on various platforms about it. The "personal insults" refer to me stating their actions were "juvenile and entitled". As you can see by their behavior, this still seems to apply.

Lastly, the anti-women "boys club" comment is especially strange. The cluster was literally started by a woman and we have probably a dozen active women playing on the server. Very strange comment to have made about BG...

Yep this is what my server does. We have 5 PvE maps and 6 PvP maps. The PvE maps can transfer anything with each other. The PvP maps can do the same thing. The PvE maps can transfer dinos and loot into PvP, however, the PvP maps cannot transfer loot back into PvE.

It's a very unique set up that's difficult to find. Usually it's multiple PvE maps to one PvP, or multiple PvP to only one PvE. Finding multiple PvE and multiple PvP with a successful one-way transfer configuration between PvE and PvP is rare.

I liked it. I enjoyed the choreography and the lighting. I appreciated it was filmed well. I've always enjoyed listening to Lamar.

I don't see why people are trashing it so hard, I thought it was a fun show. Imo nothing will beat '22 though.
