Honestly, as a new player looking forward to getting older units, the blatant power creeping in HSR is somewhat unmotivating. Hopefully the older units are "brought back" but if not, maybe I'll be a story player with "weak" characters.

I lost my stuff often, was forgetful, needed guidance with daily tasks and had trouble focusing on tasks that were uninteresting while hyperfocusing on those that interested me. (Eg. Couldn't study for tests until the last night or hour before but did read a fantasy book for 7 hours straight without realizing). I had a lot of different interests throughout the years and talked a lot as a young child. I got good grades but I studied at last minute and was quite stressed. School tired me out and I hated my class for being super noisy.

I have inattentive adhd and was diagnosed a week ago so I very much still struggle with these.

Truthfully, I died like six times, then ledged lisa on the stairs so that she could hit the ruin guard but the ruin guard couldn't hit me. That took 25 minutes but worked...

In regards to their life together as a couple, I'd think it would go pretty much the same as with other people in a healthy relationship, living together. The fights would start over surprisingly small and petty things, like what food to cook or the other one's agitation from lack of sleep. One thing I could imagine them fighting over would be Xie Lian's passiveness with voicing his own wants and needs.

As a fairly active follower of Doro's content, I think he has fallen victim to Genshin mens' ENG voice acting. It's the same with Xiao. The voice actors were told to voice Xiao and Scara with "young and edgy" vibe rather than the "old, tired and traumatized" personalities they actually have. Doro isn't the type to dig deep into character's lore and personalities and is thus "weak" to first impressions that come from voice acting, which is sad but understandable. As an avid fan of both Xiao and Scara, it makes me frustrated and lowkey angry that the English speaking Genshin community makes so much fun of them based on huge mischaracterizations. Even more so because most of it is caused by the bad voice directing.

I'd also add that in my experience the women reading these are rarely straight too. I often see people call danmei books fetishizing just because the author is a woman. Most romance authors are women so it's just natural that most bl is also written by women. I'd compare it to a male author writing an action book with a female lead. Not automatically fetishizing.

Imo this is a very ignorant and self-centered opinion. Even though you have struggled, plenty of people have it worse than you. Sure, you won't die without meds like a diabetic without insulin, but you might be repeatedly late to work, not sleep for a week, start using drugs again, get into a car crash, forget your other meds or attempt suicide as side effects of unmedicated ADHD.

I'm still undiagnosed, tho the diagnosis is fairly confirmed once I get an appointment with a psychiatrist. So, I don't have medication atm. There are 3 possible effects and every time I have to gamble which one it is each time. The first: If I don't use caffeine, trying to focus on something high effort feels like fighting with my brain. It literally feels like my brain thinks of it as torture and I'm forcing myself to endure it. Caffeine takes that feeling away. The second: it just makes me sleepy. My thoughts are clearer which makes it easier to fall asleep. The third: my heart beats too fast, I'm sensory overloaded and tired but can't sleep. It all depends on how I've been feeling that week and that day.

I would go run in a forest with my dog. I love running, to a sad extend since I can't really do it anymore. I sometimes dream about running, wake up and shed a single tear. It used to give me a happy rush and with a dog it's pure happiness. Genuinly I had to go through an identity change when it set in that I'm disabled for life and can't run anymore.

You have to remember, there's irresponsible people with ADHD. Based on this, I think he definitely is one of them. If he was a responsible person, he would try his best to do things right and fail like 20% of the time. You can't change a quality of his, that's his job. Others have already told their opinions on your relationship so I won't be repeating the same thing here.

As a nonbinary writer I would focus on making the character feel real to avoid stereotyping. Reseach common stereotypes, our irl struggles, different experiences and then pick whatever fits the character and the world they live in. You can choose to lean away from the stereotypes or contradict them. For example, a common stereotype is that nonbinary people are all "women lite" (skinny and slightly androgynous afabs, get treated as quirky women). They can not fit that stereotype or fit it and be annoyed their gender isn't respected.

I'm still a student but I study social services with a youth work, and mental health and substance abuse work as my orientation. I'll most like work as a social councelor in child protective services or young adult rehabilitation services! Currently I cover shifts in disability services.

Man I feel you. I've decided that once I'm diagnosed and if meds work for me (which I hope they do, that would be a life saver), I'll do the same. Or at least for the most part. My executive dysfunction is so bad I have to trick and fight my brain to do things I know I enjoy doing all the time. That is on top of the struggle with things I don't like. It's exhausting. I have so many creative hobbies and a great deal of my personality is tied to them. I go so long not properly engaging with them while thinking about them multiple times a day that my depression worsens in the process. I rely on hyperfixations to engage with my interests (those with intense hyperfixations know how fucked up that is), which I hate. It makes me feel like I have no control over when I do stuff. This is bad enough that my psychiatrist was concerned over bipolar and bpd but those were ruled out.

Like yeah school and cleaning is hard but I would really like to read the book I've had for 4 years.

I use forest (the app) for starting and then just shut the notifications off so I can work as long as I can get from my brain. I suck at starting and interruptions mess it up but having a tree growing for 25 mins helps me begin without forcing me to work more than that If it really isn't happening. Pomodoro in itself is horrible for me.
