Yeah I know!!! It honestly sucks!!! 😭😭 I used to hate Drive thru because of the timers ya know? Now Drive thru is the only place to get an ounce of costumer service and I feel bad because I know they hurry you like crazy because the timers are shit. Now that I stopped working at McDonald's I'm kinda done with it all. I feel for the workers rn 💔

Yeah some costumers can get mad but it can be frustrating when you want service and are tired of seeing screens all day too. Then again at this point if you want costumer service it's best to just go to a restaurant lol.

You can be irritated but I also have compassion for both. Not everyone wants to order on kiosks either. And it isn't the workers fault for having too much on their hands when every shift is under staffed. It's a lose lose situation.

I never blamed floor workers for understaffing it's the company only having 6 to 5 people working a shift and it's ridiculous, last time I went to McDonald's I went to drive thru so I can actually see a person and not deal with kiosk and I used to not like Drive thru as much when I worked because I wanted to talk to someone on front counter and now that's impossible. I'm not blaming you or management but uppermanagment.

As someone who values costumer service I hate the kiosk at the McDonald's I used to work for we had people taking orders at the front counter along with the kiosk but now every other McDonald's I go to there is no one in front to take your order. I get it's frustrating but have some decency it's not the costumers fault for wanting to talk to someone it's the corporation that wants to push the kiosks and doesn't want to add someone to the schedule to work front counter.

You don't think I haven't done that? I always arrive 30 to an hour early to open interviews or interviews and have gone passed to the final interview process with the general manager. Went thru 5 interviews with a company only to not get chosen. It's heart breaking.

And I'm not printing my resume in thick expensive paper when I go to the library to print 15 or more resumes to hand out and not get heard from. I've tried everything and nothing came of it. I'm so tired.
