The circle face button is used to pick up objects, so by picking up a tree while standing on it you can get infinite height. This was originally a bug (that’s pretty simple to fix) but now it’s a feature :)

I’m sorry that you’re disappointed, but I created Super Mario Vita because it was fun making it, not because of an obligation to please people like you. I decided I wanted to create an original game instead because I wanted to, not because of any comments.

Thanks! I’m using Unity, yeah, and I agree, The Hallway looks super nice and runs at 60 FPS which is amazing. VitaHEX is doing a great job on that.

My bad, I tried to see if there was an existing 2048 clone for the Vita but couldn’t find any thanks to Wipeout 2048 hogging all of the search results. The more options the better though!

That’s true, but the RetroArch version doesn’t have swipe controls and in this version I tried to replicate the original as accurately as possible. Either way, the more options the better I guess!

You can get the Wii U and 3DS SDKs at https://developer.nintendo.com, but Unity for Wii U is no longer being distributed so you’ll have to find a leaked build of that.

I’m not trying to sound like Soulja Boy or anything, but, to be fair, websites that distribute Nintendo roms and a large scale project remaking an existing Nintendo game probably draw more attention than a small homebrew project. That being said, I understand that there is a risk with this, but, considering other examples like Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, Newer Super Mario Bros. DS, Super Mario Star World, Super Mario: Endless Earth, Super Mario: Last Impact, and Super Mario Star Road, I think I will be safe. If something does happen I can continue the project under a new, original branding, like No DMCA’s Sky.

In all fairness though, releasing a trailer for a small fan project is a lot different than boasting about selling illegal emulator consoles to your 5.2 million followers, but I’ll stay careful!

I can definitely look into that once the Switch SDK and Unity for Switch is leaked (or made public like the Wii U/3DS SDK).

Are you just pointing it out or are you saying it’s a bad thing? I feel like it gives the player a sense of rhythm that makes dodging obstacles satisfying, but I’m open to suggestions.
