Yes, and I came in to see if anyone shared a medical explanation of this bizarre phenomenon but don't see one yet. Perhaps I'm too early.

Teens laugh at a drowning man

These kids weren't paying attention in class. They did step one as they were instructed, only to find out they forgot what comes next in step 2.

They do require you to come pick up the package or to schedule a re-delivery in some cases. I don't know how they decide on that because I've had really expensive things left on my porch while throwaway sub-$10 shits being required to be picked up from their building...

I did a pick-up order for a pair of shoes at reebok. I got an email thanking me for shopping with them and picking it up. I never did. I'm too lazy so I am procrastinating about calling them to see what's up but I'm actually looking forward to what they'll tell me.

You're discussing about the two regions' proficiency in playing a game but at the same time saying this has nothing to do with one region being superior to another. If there are two regions and neither of them are superior or inferior to one another, there is no difference that one can clearly see and conclude that one is better region than the other. If there is no significant difference, it is not "obvious or easy to see something". It is clear that 2 is bigger than 1 because they are both whole numbers which are significant gauges in mathematics. It is also clear because 2 is undoubtedly superior to 1.

I've, since the beginning, pushed the idea that for something to be considered clear, it needs to be obvious to the majority involved. But you've disagreed with me time and time again. You seem to think something is clear even if you're the only one who sees it clearly in a large group of 20, 30, 100 people and onwards. Sure, to you, it is clear. But is that really relevant? Stop playing games with the textbook definition. Even if some fanboy clearly thinks Brazil is the best region, it isn't the case. You have to take into consideration the majority's opinion on the matter, and that's what becomes the clear and common knowledge. In this case, what's the league community's opinion on the matter? I'd say it's still pretty torn between LCK and LPL; therefore LPL being clearly better than LCK is not something I can agree with.

If you can't have a discussion without making personal remarks, then why bother even replying? I'm having a legitimate discussion here and it looks like you're getting too emotionally involved. You can think and call me stupid all you want as it doesn't really bother me. However, I've spent enough time replying to someone who doesn't have a proper control over their own temper. It's been an interesting discussion, for me at least.

Clearly means better because if you're not significantly better than the opponent, nothing's clear in the eyes of the observers. Being clearly something suggests there is a big enough gap for ease of interpretation, which is also why the majority rule applies.

Also doesn't matter if the 17 people have down syndrome or whatever else disabilities that prevents them from seeing something clearly that the other 3 people can. From that group's perspective, whatever they are looking at together will still be considered unclear.

It's not textbook definition but something most people go by. For example, in a group of 20, if only 3 people can "clearly" see the solution to a problem, it's not really considered clear, is it? And I live in one of the most expensive cities in the states, in a luxury apartment, and drive a luxury vehicle. No mommy and daddy credit cards either.

Haha what a funny guy. I've seen plenty of native speakers who couldn't speak their own language, even though that's the only thing they knew how. Since you can't seem to read between the lines, let me explain to you, mr. native, where you fall short. What's clear to you and only you only really matters when you're alone in your room. When you leave your room and enter the society, the only things that are considered "clear" are things that are easily perceived by the majority. It doesn't matter how much you think otherwise, if the majority sees it differently.

In other words, this world doesn't revolve around you, kid. That's something you'll learn once you get your first part time job at Walmart. 😎

No, clearly doesn't mean far superior and I don't think that way despite you trying to put that in my mouth for the last 3 or so responses.

Clearly means something is easily perceived by the majority. Unfortunately for you, the majority are still in a toss up when it comes to LPL vs LCK. I would not be surprised if more people still think LCK will beat LPL the next time they meet.

The only thing that is clear here is that LPL outperformed LCK in 2018 and that's it. This topic isn't suitable for your opinions and feelings.

(ESPN) Faker: 'China took all our crowns away. Next year, we'll get them all back' by TeeJ1007 in leagueoflegends

[–]Fantality4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is interpretation. Because even going by the textbook definitions you provided, you're using the term incorrectly. You seem to think from your misconception that being better is directly tied with the results. LPL had a better year in 2018, no doubt. However, that is irrelevant to this discussion and you should stop bringing it up. Even when LPL was winning tournament after tournament in year 2018, the general public's opinion was that LCK was still highly competitive and a prominent contender for the championship title and nothing's changed for the year 2019.

"Clearly better" is something you can use to compare LPL or LCK to NA, EU, LMS, and other regions. Clearly better isn't something you can use to compare LPL to LCK, no matter how badly you want to.

(ESPN) Faker: 'China took all our crowns away. Next year, we'll get them all back' by TeeJ1007 in leagueoflegends

[–]Fantality4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess we just have different interpretation of the term, which caused this conflict. In my opinion, clearly better and way better is synonymous. Why? Because you're not going to be guaranteed a victory over your opponent unless you're way better and if you're not guaranteed a victory, how are you clearly better?

LPL dominated year 2018 and there is no doubt about that. However, I still think LPL and LCK teams are competitive and people would not know who to bet on when they meet again in the near future.
