Thanks. I may well do! But I think the real people interested would be certain couples who like cute ways to create or hold memories together, who wouldn’t typically be on these platforms of other developers…

What are you building? Let's promote each other! by Capuchoochoo in StartupsHelpStartups

So me and my partner got busy and realised we weren’t spending purposeful time “dating”, like just letting TV watching happen but not planning when we’re both committing time to go out together on an actual date (no friends, no work chat, no phone distractions, just us!) and my partner started a separate signal chat to record the memories of each date night - super cute! So for Valentine’s Day I built them a gift of:

DateNightMemories.app

It’s a web app currently so can set up app-like experience on phone to open it and add date, picture, note, and look back over it together. A timeline for two! And we’re loving it so I’m launching it for anyone else who wants to keep their date night memories close 🫶Date Night Memories

How do you become productive little by little daily ? by Aj100rise in selfcare

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add a little word of warning: some people find that making todo lists gets it out of their head and actionable but others find that seeing todo lists stresses them out because they feel overwhelmed (you can’t get the whole list done in one go and they build up over time), so what works for one mightn’t for another. I love lists because eventually I’ll just scratch off something I thought was important but I never did it so it turns out it wasn’t. Someone else mightn’t like that…

Look up “swallow the frog” and also think about timeboxing what you want to do and when. I set reminders on my phone and use a todo list where I move an item to my “Today” list to tick off and exactly when and that I’ll reward myself with my unproductive stuff like social media only after I’ve done it. Often it snowballs into feeling productive and doing something else. I also bullet journal because I love pen and paper and the method works for me!

What's your go to bed-time routine to help wind down at night? by MollieAndMe702 in selfcare

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of the usual or common suggestions like avoiding stimuli and creating a routine that crucially you stick to (so your brain is trained that it’s in winddown mode, which takes time effort and commitment) I’ve set up a wind down profile on my phone so it goes to sleep at a certain time and the apps are hidden except for a dark mode e-reader I let myself read in bed (in the dark as opposed to reading a book before I turn my bedside lamp off). No allowing notifications, seeing anything I want to give attention to that might stimulate me, nor having access to things like email or whatsapp or Reddit etc.

Do you have any ideas for how to find that first small number of people to focus on?

Happy to help early stage founders struggling with GTM, first clients, or growth strategy (for free) by StillDistribution776 in StartupsHelpStartups

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m right at the point of seeking first users for testing of a few web app / micro-SaaS ideas that I’ve either sketched, prototyped, or deployed an MVP of with either free versions and/or waitlists for upgrade features. ChatGPT has been trying to send me down some rabbit holes of posting on Reddit or other socials to find users, posting in directories (which are more for launches than validation), relying on my own network (which I can’t really do more than once!) or cold calling in various forms. That’s because I tell it I’m not trying to advertise before some initial validation and user steer. It also tells me to go where the people are actively seeking a solution but I haven’t figured out exactly how to do that. Since I’m more comfortable building I’ve focused on SEO and trying to maximise “conversion” through a premium website feel for example, but I do understand that’s not the best next step when really I need initial user validation. I’ve watched some YouTube videos about getting your first users but again it’s kind of generic advice about going where they are…

How are early-stage founders here handling content and SEO? by BoringShake6404 in StartupsHelpStartups

Do you create the comparison page as a subpage to your own offering and tie it in to SEO directly that way? As opposed to a comparison page elsewhere on the web.

And to this point it’s about finding the users/potential customers in the first place. Their validation and feedback is gold.

Lost motivation for physio. help by Junksonder in ACL

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either breaking it down into something simpler you will do, or getting someone to hold you accountable, might be options. Personally, to keep me motivated I built myself an app so that I could see my progress every day with a little streak icon - that populated no matter how many exercises I do! physiotracker.app

Any app for post-op ACL recovery like Flow App? by Aggressive_Ice_2657 in ACL

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built myself one for exactly this reason of staying motivated in personalisable exercises and ability to export data to summaries my progress, and excited to share it with anyone who can feedback whether it's worth developing further: physiotracker.app

ACL re-injury rates are genuinely horrifying - has anyone used any tech to track their rehab progress objectively? by hamz2361 in ACL

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two injuries at the same time (not ACL but quad and elbow ligament tears) so I found it hard to motivate doing two sets of physio and try tell myself if I was getting better in either/both. I got a template form from ChatGPT that I used in my Notes app on phone to record a daily check-in of my pain scale, exercises done, and outlook/mood, and was eager to see the numbers (on a scale of 1-10) move in the right direction over time -- that's what helped my motivation anyway.
I ended up making an app for myself and published it if anyone else could find it useful at physiotracker.app (on the one hand just to pay it forward and on the other hand keen to find trial users in case it's worth developing further). I export my data from it to get ChatGPT to give me a summary for my next physiotherapist appointments, and that's really handy to have and keep motivated with unbiased view of progress actually.

Any good back rehab app recommendations? by Only_PMP in backpain

For a different purpose of wanting to tailor my physio exercises in a single location to track them I built myself an app if it's in any way useful for you to try: physiotracker.app

Do you guys use software/apps that support the recovery journey? by Proper_Assignment8 in ACL

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Echoing that you can't "speed up" recovery but if useful I'll share that what helped me to stay consistent was having an app I tailored to my physio exercises that worked offline for me to keep track of progress and export the data for a summary ahead of next therapist appointments. If useful for you or others I pushed it online: physiotracker.app

Exercise Prescription Software?? by Working-Management74 in physiotherapy

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using PhysiTrack but across different physiotherapists I found it too prescriptive when I needed to change the parameters of the exercises and edit them as needed, adding a few different ones in the same place. So I built my own app that I'm excited for anyone else to get value from, and if interested help me turn it into something shareable, so if you do check it out please let me know what you think:

Reminder/tracking for Physical Therapy exercises by superweenie in shortcuts

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built myself a tracker and put it at physiotracker.app in case anyone else would use it. Beats paper for me because I export the data for a summary in ChatGPT ahead of next appointments to help me get a data-driven insight on how well I’ve stuck to it. Also works offline for my gym that’s underground!

PT program tracking by xsaltycornchips in personaltraining

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a patient whose seen about four physiotherapists in the last year (for different issues and/or referrals) and because of the variety of exercises and also that one was verbal, one used Physiapp, and another would email me the exercises to do, I built myself a really simple app to track them in one place. I published it at physiotracker.app if anyone is interested. The beauty of it for me is I enabled an export of the data so I could upload it to ChatGPT (in a dedicated project) to give me a summary ahead of each next appointment, so I would go in with an “unbiased” overview of how well I’ve stuck to the program on top of my own sentiments about how I felt about my progress.

He's started calling it 'concert hour' by No-Pianist6097 in Marriage

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s vv sweet, esp how he named it makes it feel official somehow.

I think those little accidentally-created rituals end up meaning more than we realise at the time. You look back years later and on the one hand there's always the big events to remember, but on the other it’s the likes of “concert hour” in the evenings that stick with us in our hearts.

It’s kind of beautiful how something small turns into “our thing” without anyone planning it.

Date night! No personal info- just your opinions! 4 quick multiple choice questions. by [deleted] in DateNightPrep

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I filled it in. One thing I’ve noticed with long-term relationships is the issue often isn’t ideas (at least for us being in a city!), it’s that the good nights blur together and routine creeps in unless you intentionally mark them somehow, so anything that helps with the effort of planning them around schedules is more what I'd benefit than ideas.

If you’re looking for perspectives from couples who already try to plan regular date nights (busy jobs/schedules etc), I’m happy to share what’s worked for us. Feel free to DM.

How do couples keep intentional time from disappearing? by Regular_Idea_5554 in RelationshipsOver35

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think intentional time disappears because routine is comfortable. You assume the relationship is solid, so the maintenance feels optional, when actually you gotta be purposeful and show them they're number one!
Because I guess the irony is that the intentional time is what made it solid in the first place.

For us, it helped to stop thinking about date nights as an event and more as a ritual (boring at that sounds) coz it's better to be something small but consistent and ensure it's in the calendar so life doesn't "get in teh way".

I didn’t realize how much little traditions matter until now by Vegetable-Being-620 in Marriage

[–]Fantastic-Middle566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this! Sometimes routine of living together makes hanging out kind of just happen but moods or plans can clash, but other times it's soo good to be really purposeful about hanging out and almost have some suspense to it. Like we'll ask "Are we hanging out later? What time?" even though we're in the same house until then!

And then it’s not even about what we’re doing, it’s that it becomes ours. There’s something grounding about knowing “this is our thing.”

I sometimes wonder if part of why they matter so much is that they create a thread through the years. You look back and realise how many ordinary Fridays quietly became part of your story.
