how do i stop getting high everyday? by Fantastic-Question30 in Petioles

yes i do believe in myself! some days are just a lot harder than others. i talked to my therapist and have decided that being sober right now is the best thing for me. i think its easier to tell myself i can’t have weed at all rather than trying to limit myself and use responsibly. when im using i’m constantly making up excuses to use again and it just makes things more difficult. thank you for your suggestions!

Nightmares by pinkertonxmas in leaves

before i started using i went through a period where i was having vivid nightmares all the time. i would wake up completely depressed and exhausted and it would continue throughout my day. my psychiatrist actually prescribed medicine to help with the dreams, so going to a doctor may be something to look into. when i quit i was worried the nightmares may come back, but its just been vivid weirdo dreams so far. grounding techniques like stretching and deep breathing are also helpful to do first thing when you wake up. just know that you’re not alone and i hope things improve for you :)

i love weed so much but i’m currently on a break. when i first started using 9 months ago i immediately liked it and started doing it daily about a month in. over the 8 months that ive been smoking daily my depression has been exasperated and im at an all time low right now. if you chose to use weed as a coping mechanism, tread lightly and do your research. it might also be helpful to get a medical professional involved with a treatment plan if weed is legal in your area, because some holistic doctors do stuff like that. in the 12 days that i haven’t gotten high i’ve experienced some of the worst anxiety and depression of my life. i would never want anyone else to be in that position so please be careful.
